Karvoc: I, I will remember that day for as long as I live for it is burned into my memory. Standing on that platform to vault 111 as the bombs went off all around watching in horror as the place, I fought so hard to protect was vaporized. Then the gunshot as my wife, my Nora was killed, and my son stolen, labelled the backup! You have no idea who I am, but you will soon enough as all that was good in me died with her, all that held me in check was, solen, from me! *noise as a pistol is cocked*

Jammer: Woah easy there, boss I think he gets it.

The gang murmurs as they look at the settler beaten and bloody on the ground, above him Nate or as everyone calls him Karvoc stands a pistol in his hand pressed into the temple of the settler.

Karvoc: No, no one gets it. *the noise of the gunshot rings true like a bell striking noon* the broken and bloody body slumps to the floor motionless.

Standing up from the now-dead settler hands red gun raised above him, he yells.

I will never forget, I will never forgive, I will take back what is mine. A cheer erupts from the gang as they disperse readying up for the raid.

    Jammer: boss?

Karvoc: a murmur can be heard from the raider boss as he checks his gear, I will never forget.

The design concept for it is as follows.

At level 0 you have met Jamer and fueled by anger killed everything you have been directed at falling back to the training you received from the army.

You have taken what you can and fortified your house and some of the other ones. found a tow truck and jerry-rigged it to work again and have been using it to pull cars trucks etc back to act as walls, it protects.

At level 1 you have made a name for yourself, some of the settlements around you have tried to make contact but you have rebuffed them you want nothing to do with people who can't fall in line with your thinking.

the core houses are now all fortified and the wall grows with walkways and battlements. The engineering training is paying off with your good use of saw and hammer, the wall protects. More lost souls find their way to you and follow your lead. You need power, water, beds and food but the one thing the army did not teach you was how to be a farmer. You use your training once again to obtain what you need. By the power of the gun, you force a local farm to supply you with food.

At level 2, the new town of Sanctuary is in need or caps you send out some of your more competent followers to find people who would like to set up shop. A mad man moved into one of the houses and set up a bar, no one messes with him. Two more arrive with the idea that if they can set up the correct channels they can resell all we loot so a weapons and armour shop open up along the main drag, this idea grows till you can find almost anything. This influx of caps and a place to buy guns and armour leads to training and a firing range opens up. The wall that protects grows as more materials are taken from locations dragged up and put to use.

At level 3, the town is a hub for all the lost and sorry the outcast the unwanted the displaced, they all have a place here if they can follow a few rules. Never go into the bosses house, follow what he says, make time to be as useful as you can to him and lastly take a bath at least once a week.

by now all the houses inside of the wall are all taken be it as a flophouse or by others who saw the opportunity for commerce or industry. The wall grows ever thicker and ever upward, the wall that protects.

You could have a settlement with nothing but more Mad Max cars in it and it would be awesome! Rusty engines equals good gaming.

Probably preaching to the choir, but Wasteland Venturers (AIO) has some awesome plots that would fit your theme really well, the "Chosen One" recreational plot is one of my favourites.

They came in the dark of the night, Dogmeat was the first to notice, letting off a growl that awoke the raider boss. Gunners, and in force. Someone with caps wanted Karvoc gone.

Quickly he set off the silent alarm alerting the gang to prep for a fight. From within his fortified house, he switched the cameras over to night vision.

Opening the gate to allow them to enter, a bold move.

I finished the I love you house (to the right) and the church. But now I will have mayor issues burning the I love you house down before L1. My story needs rewriting.

Ha ha! The "I love you" house. Correcting my rude language. Oh well, the I love you house it is then.
While buildning the interior I made this corridor with a red carpet in it and thought I might add a reference to The Shining so I placed a little tricycle at the end and it promptly fell through the floor never to be seen again.

..and a while later I opened up one of the doors in the corridor and lo and behold! Tricycle. Ghost tricycle.
