I have been getting the option to send settlers to a place called "The Mall" Is this a mistake and what will happen if a NPC gets sent there by mistake?

Sounds like an issue with SuperStructures specifically, might be worth reporting it on the Nexus as well.
 
One of VFX' plots creates an interior settlement like that IIRC.
 
Already mentioned on the superstructures mod page, waiting for the feedback. I am more interested in what could happen if I click on it by mistake and the vague "Conqueror" reference in it. Yea the Superstructures mod is one of VFX's as well.

I have some fixes/changes done, still unclear why it's sometimes actively owned from the start since that hasn't happened to me. Have been testing it in case more issues, but now Caravan Network seems to be able to work there. Build Plan Info was largely placeholder.

This might be ready for an update then. All that's missing still on it is an actual name, unsure what to call it. Will think about that a bit and then look over things to see if anything else can be added as well without a lot of additional time.

Moving settlers to & from it works for me but I might have to use Town Meeting Gavel or Instabell to get them to appear.

I had some other ideas, this plot was a test for them. I learned from this plot that the other ideas can be done but it can get complicated.

:agree: Update Done on Nexus. I have another idea to further try to help things for the mall settlement but probably best to see how things go with how it is now, since it's been working for me. More scripting for it might turn out to be unnecessary.

1x1 Portable Caravan should be less likely to shutdown as well
 
i sent an attack to the mall not thinking to make an outpost but can't find it and it's telling me to meet up with attack force

Reminded me to do the update I'd been planning, I've just added keyword SS2_C3_Tag_ExcludeFromAssaultTargetSelection to the workbench at The Mall. This should exclude it from being an attack target
 
Problem is having sent them I am supposed to meet up with the attack force but have no clue where the mall even is wasn't thinking about that

Sadly no I have done way too much since I started it does it automatically cancel if you don't go to meet with them? Like after a certain amount of time?
Can you roll back to a save before you planned the assault
 
If you started it from a war desk you should be able to cancel the attack. You might still be able to even if you didn't start from there.
I can't remember for sure, but I think it may fail if you don't show up after a certain amount of time.

i did start it from war desk but it does not give me option to cancel and i can't start a different attack says 24hrs i will have to look into it more see if i can figure out how to cancel if i can't i'm guessing after 24hrs it must reset, would not be bad if i could find the place lol but i have no map/quest marker telling what area it is in
 
I'm sure you haven't built one yet. I had something like that happen in a previous game. The Mall showed up as a settlement and I hadn't used the plot yet.
I was just lucky enough to not have the gunners take that one, as it wasn't on the map. It looks like @VersusXV has fixed the issue so hopefully you won't see that happen again.
