Hey guys, been enjoying rise, started to lay the foundation at sunshine tidings co-op. Got stuck in cinematic view for about an hour with no progress being made. Cheers.

Hi Agent, do you happen to have realistic build time on?

No I do not, just double checked. It continues to move me around the settlement showing me the first bitrs of foundation like staircases and support structures, it hasn't torn down any pieces I've placed myself, and it doesn't progress. I have oberland station and sanctuary built as well.

Hmm, that's a bit of a different one then. Could you go to a save prior to inputting the city plan, use the holotape to nuke the settlement and then try building the city plan again.

Woah! What kinds of other mods are you running? I'm surprised it didn't just crash to the Xbox homepage if it became overwhelmed performance wise - So the fact it kept going for an hour is interesting/curious. Hmmm.

mostly performance related mods, but there's a lot I'll type up a load order. I thought the same thing

It's possible it didn't get overwhelmed, but rather that the script that should take the player out of cinematic mode ended without moving the player back where they go.

I don't have a save prior to inputting the city plan, unfortunately the "taking point" quest associated with the settlement broke around the recruitment beacon.

I think I figured it out, I built the city manager desk before completing the taking point quest. The quest didn't recognize the beacon and SIM settlements couldn't delete any of my objects (the beacon and generator). Once I nuked the city, I could complete the taking point quest, and the city built in about 5 minutes.

Hmm that's new, we'll have to ask some of our other members to see if that'll fix the quest for them at least. Currently we thought there was no workaround on Xbox for it.

The workaround of using the option to delete the local settlement may or may not cause other bugs. The reason it allows the quest to move forward is it deletes the invisible object kinggath uses to integrate his recruitment system.

kinggath is putting a priority on fixing quest bugs, so hopefully we'll know soon

True.

Let us know if you run into any other bugs Agent.

That's what I'm leaning towards too. It's definitely not performance, based on the fact it stayed active for an hour without crashing or hiccuping otherwise.
