Old Post Stuck with "god mode" outside of WS...

I have been stuck in the god mode settings (flight, invisibility including my pip boy) even after exiting workshop mode and I have tried disabling and re-enabling WS+ and toggling the settings with MCM and I haven't been able to find a solution for it yet. I tried coc'ing around as well. After searching google and the forums I'm afraid I haven't found a solution there either. If it helps I can post my load order but I'm not certain it's a compatibility issue since it had been running with no conflict for over a week. Could someone help me get my pip boy back?

for the pipboy have you tryed the console command?

hit tyle ~

player.equipitem 00021b3b

if I got the pipboy # wrong then ~ help “pipboy” 4

&

player.additem 00021b3b

or whatever the: help pipboy 4 came back with

I tried that too and nothing.. I can open the pip boy, I just can't see it to navigate. It isn't terribly invasive right now since I spend all my time building, but I can't quest at all while this is happening. Do you think my load order would help?

I've gotten this a couple of times and the only way I could fix it was to go back to an earlier save.
It can be caused by exiting workshop while still in the air, or opening your pipboy immediately after exiting workshop.

HAH I fixed it! I remembered reading that to get the player to fly it changes the player race to flying. Just console command player.setrace MaleRace (or female depending on your reproductive organs (; ) and back to the ground we go! Should I post the fix somewhere more public? I don't really know where to put stuff like that when no one has found a solution yet..

:dance2 WOOOOHOOOOO! :yess

:yahoo I love it when folks post fixes! :declare

hahahaha, even better :rofl ones that I don't have glitches too yet. :crazy
None the less :ty2 take a bow :smile !

Oh, everything is evolving right now so I don't know if we have a fix section for things like this. hahaha, I have some new tools and I can't even find a way to change the thread prefix to "fix or fixed". Still, I bookmark stuff like this as a 100 posts from now someone will have something similar. :good

I think I could move it to the bug section and mark it as a fixed but as this is a newer post I think it better to leave it in the open forums so folks might see it and make their own comments for now. :scratchhead

Great.! Thanks for the input!

A bug isn't "fixed" if it requires a workaround, but it is great to have an option to undo what the bug does. So thanks ceddy for pointing out the workaround.
