Stuck - Scavver's Delight (1.0.0c)

So, I started up a new save but didn't want to build in Sanctuary, so I decided to start my first settlement in Starlight. Everything happens fine, the quest moves along without any major bugs, but once I get to this quest, I have already completed Olivia and returned the locket to the Abernathys (one of the first quests I do in any playthrough outside of getting Preston out of Concord).

Everything goes fine, I figure I won't have too many issues other than not being able to complete the optional part of talking to the farmers. We get to the Radar station and Jake is just standing at the terminal, and nothing I can do through normal gameplay can move him, including moving him inside of the intel room with moveto. I have slept for days hoping the script would run again and he would update the quest progress, anything, but nothing has worked. While I wouldn't call this gamebreaking, it should definitely be updated to check if the radar station has been cleared/abernathy is owned by the player so it can update its markers/progress. Without changing the quest progress through console or restarting, I'm not sure what else to do.
 
Almost like issues we used to see with the molerat cave or other script glitches like the hanging save.
If you rolled back and replayed you might get a different result but sooner or later it would glitch again.
Gee thanks for bringing back my PTSD on that cave.

You know I never had that problem again after I installed that mod that made it so molerats no longer teleport.

Anyway, I got inspired by your mentioning of TMAH, and added it to my current game. Since I wanted to replay that mod sometime soon anyway, and I realized it would fit the story of this playthrough perfectly...
So I added it in when I was in the middle of "If I had a Hammer", I am travelling with Kit now (and I'm fully aware that things might break) - and I will see how it goes...
 
What I think would be the most helpful info is, what SS2 patch version, and "do you" or "do you not" have TMAH installed, or have you ever enabled it in this save?
Just to let you know, I just completed Scavver's Delight, twice, in a game started with SS2 public beta 1.0.0j and TMAH enabled, without issues. Once before getting Kit as companion and once accompanied by her. I'd added TMAH to my loadorder during If I had a Hammer, so it wasn't loaded from the start.
(I'm kind of expecting problems further down the line since you mentioned Jake always bugged out for you sooner or later with TMAH enabled, and inconsistently if so, which means I might just have been lucky so far...)

Also, I am on version j now. But my SS2 install goes back to Beta07 so my save file could be poisoned.

I’m about to try on a fresh save from version J, will report back soon my findings. Also may just stream it tonight.

It worked! I didn’t open the intel room and went outside after clearing the station and he’s now progressing the quest! Took a smoke break to come tell you guys, but I’m still streaming!

also, I didn’t change any mod settings this time around and took jake with me to clear concord and trudy’s place. Not sure if that made a difference.
 
I have the same issue, I don't have any of those mods listed above, I did clear Olivia out before doing this mod - I feel that Settlement 2 needs to make an exception rule so that if you come there and there are no more raiders because you already took them out then maybe add a dialogue to say "I've already been there and cleared the raiders out" and he can reply "Wow, maybe this will go easier than I thought" and skip the script "kill all the raiders" because you already did and can't go further along in the quest otherwise
 
Ok I found a solution - If you have already cleared Olivia out then do not take Jack there until 7 ingame days are gone - this will then respawn some raiders into Olivia. So when you get the quest to go speak to Jake when you completed the problem of Lily kicking the ASAM, then don't go immediately - just potter around fixing or building your base for the 7 days, then go off to speak to Jake - this will fix the storyline - I did it just now and it worked - hope this helps others
