Stuck - Scavver's Delight (1.0.0c)

So, I started up a new save but didn't want to build in Sanctuary, so I decided to start my first settlement in Starlight. Everything happens fine, the quest moves along without any major bugs, but once I get to this quest, I have already completed Olivia and returned the locket to the Abernathys (one of the first quests I do in any playthrough outside of getting Preston out of Concord).

Everything goes fine, I figure I won't have too many issues other than not being able to complete the optional part of talking to the farmers. We get to the Radar station and Jake is just standing at the terminal, and nothing I can do through normal gameplay can move him, including moving him inside of the intel room with moveto. I have slept for days hoping the script would run again and he would update the quest progress, anything, but nothing has worked. While I wouldn't call this gamebreaking, it should definitely be updated to check if the radar station has been cleared/abernathy is owned by the player so it can update its markers/progress. Without changing the quest progress through console or restarting, I'm not sure what else to do.
 
I’m having this issue as well. Although I wonder if it’s because we cleared the station before the quest started. That or panpc is interfering. I don’t know yet.
 
Well one of the stages is to clear all the raiders. After clearing all the raiders you go back to him and he opens the door.

Not sure if a cell respawn would help or not. Normal is like seven days and survival is like 30 days time.

You could try to spawn a raider at you? Maybe even try using Ack Ack's id?

Ack Ack is the raider chick with the minigun in Olivia. I mentioned her because she might have an ID# easier to find.

Well this was from SS Conqueror where you got her as a companion for a short while. Coolest quest ever to take her to clear Thicket Excavations.

So I reloaded and some raiders were already there. Tried killing them, reloaded, brought jake there with me and killed them again, finally got him inside, but nothing.

he is now stuck at the excavation site and won’t move at all.
 
Playing on version 1.0.0g and experienced the same issue. Tried spawning a random raider in. Didn't help. Tried spawning another Ack Ack in. Also didn't work. What did work was reloading an old save from before I did the Abernathy quest and doing that at the same time as Scavver's Delight.
I believe that the vanilla game handles issues like this by completely resetting a dungeon. I'm not a programmer though so I have no idea.
 
I’ve started a new game several times, it keeps happening. I think it might be a mod interfering with spawns, I have npcs travel, panpc, arbitration. Zone recalculation, plus my ugrid is set to 7.
Do you guys have any of those mods on as well?

I'm stuck at the same location, I also have NPC's travel on. Perhaps it is that? I figured it was because I had cleared the location already for Project Valkyrie.
 
NPCs Travel should not be the culprit here. I had it active when I last did that quest, which was with the public beta of 1.0.0g and I did a lot of testing, trying my best to break this quest on purpose. I also cleared out the station before doing this quest, which also was not a problem.
So I'm suspecting another mod to be conflicting here...

Ok I failed to mentioned I have depravity and the other two mods that go with it as well.

problem persists with latest public beta as of 11/04/20

But question is the quest progressing normally... is Jake interacting properly until there?
 
Yeah, just recorded a video of that quest, both Depravity and NPC TVL enabled and it was fine.

What I think would be the most helpful info is, what SS2 patch version, and "do you" or "do you not" have TMAH installed, or have you ever enabled it in this save?

For myself at least the quest was progressing perfectly up until Scavver's delight. I got to Satellite Olivia. Talked to Jake, killed the raiders on the outside. My quest says in multiple tabs: Talk to Jake, Return to Jake, Follow Jake, Search for equipment. Although when I talk to Jake it says he's busy, the terminal that is tracked inside Olivia can't be accessed and Jake no longer moves.

I'm 99% sure I had TMAH enabled by accident (though never did it's initial quest) during my first playthrough of SS2 and Scavver's Delight completed just fine...
 
I think "if" he bugs in Concord it carries over to Olivia.
For me sooner or later he bugs even if I get him past concord.

The reason I am asking is I had his exact same issue before. With it disabled no more Jake bug but it needed to be a clean save.
 
Interesting. Might go ahead and try to replicate this...

I got burned out on it.

I plan to go back at some point again with a min-load order and the newest patch "whatever" it is then.

For me, you can't or can replicate by just playing it once, but all things being equal if you replay it enough times rolling back each time you will get it again/a different result.

Almost like issues we used to see with the molerat cave or other script glitches like the hanging save.
If you rolled back and replayed you might get a different result but sooner or later it would glitch again.
