Stealth Boys

I have been pondering this recently.
What happens if you give your settlers stealth boys?
Do they use them or just carry them around in their inventory?
I have given several of my settlers Sealth boys but have never seen them use them.
Am I not seeing them because they are using stealth boys, or do they ignore them?

They need special AI combat packages to use consumables at all in combat. So Im guessing they couldnt if they wanted to. But I think the Pack Attack guy did an NPC mod that lets them do that.
