Status Meter bars manual reset?

Hi folks,

I've been playing with SS2 and a ton of mods for years now and have never had this particular scenario show up. My Status Bars are all solid grey and do not ever update, leaving me with no way of visually knowing if there are deficits that are going to drop happiness in my settlements. The values in the settlement are fluctuating, the Resource Bar values are fluctuating on their normal schedule. The other mods I have the let me see things like any settlers without a bed or job or hobby (SS2UI and NODE) are both showing those details. The Status Bar framework shows up exactly as you'd expect it to, with total and max settlers showing and adjusting accordingly, as well as the level and progress of leveled city plans if I'm in a settlement that's using one of those. I've not had any weird mod interaction or other misconfiguration/incompatibilities but I just cannot find a way to get the Status Bad lines to show up.

I noticed some threads in an active stack in ReSaver that were all suspended and marked as zero attached, which I terminated (but didn't delete, just terminated them) and after that no more Status Bars. I've terminated suspended threads before and let the engine clean them up as it does and not poisoned or wrecked my save, and this is the only thing that's stopped working since. I've tried reinstalling HUDFramework and SS2 but no joy.

Anyone out there know if there's a console command to reinitialize the bars or have them recalculate?

There are new releases for Workshop Framework and Sim Settlements 2 Chapters today. When you reinstalled, did you install the latest releases?
If no, you can download and install those to see if that fixes your issue.

You can try City Manager Holotape: Options > HUD > Disable HUD - toggle it OFF, wait a few minutes, then toggle it ON to reset the HUD.

Good suggestions. I had not grabbed the updated packages prior to posting this and did so yesterday. Still same Status Bars behavior of empty gray bars. I then disabled the HUD and played for about 15 minutes then re-enabled the HUD with the same behavior as well. I'd guess we've got some script that's not firing somewhere; figuring out what script it is and trying to manually restart it is going to be a lot of trial and error without knowing what script gets fired initially.

If you'd like. post or attach your plugins.txt or loadorder.txt file so people can have a look for mod conflicts.

Thanks for the suggestions so far and the offer to look at mod conflicts. I actually got Claude to analyze the save and see if it noticed anything funky (I'm not a super big fan of AI in general but it does scan code well and I write a mean prompt), and it found the problem. When I terminated some zeroed out scripts in the active stack that were marked as suspended, they had corresponding boolean settings that marked their respective function calls (in this case, one was specifically updating HUDFramework data used to display those bars) as active and the function to populate them with data wouldn't fire off as long as they were marked as "true" instead of "false". Basically I terminated scripts mid-flight and they never cleaned up and subsequent starts of the scripts wouldn't fire while their boolean value prevented them. I went in and toggled that setting to false and within seconds of the next save load the bars showed up just like normal.

Oddly enough, Claude also found a possible bug in the settlement distribution code trying to populate a field it hadn't created yet and prepared a bug report for it. (Part of my prompt writing skills always include "and tell me how you'd fix any problems you find including bug reports to developers")

Thanks again for your help and suggestions. They're greatly appreciated.
