So, I have had multiple bugs that i ended up using commands to skip through, bugging my game beyond belief. I decided to start a clean save and take it slower. However, I am seeing that when i begin a new game, My save file is at about 30 mbs. Is this normal? I do have dozens more mods, but none other than the addons, cbbe, tales of the commonwealth, and some performance enhancing mods. I don't want to start again if ill end up back at square one again.

It looks like you are in great shape to me, my saves on a new playthrough are around 50 mbs.

Nobody's ever adequately explained to me how the filesize of your savegame affects anything.
My own are regularly breaking into the 70MB range by the time I'm up to Chapter 3 territory, looking over them all...

I finished Chap3 just today with a ton of settlements, lvl 76, fully kitted HQ, etc, and I'm about 63mb. Larger save files can cause F4 some grief, just the same as having hundreds of saves in the save folder, but that 'nebulous' number is a lot higher than 63. Just don't console command your way through SS2. That you already acknowledged. Tales of the CW might have weird effects though especially if straight out of the box with its broken stuff. Not sure if SS2 places doors over the top of some places, but maybe.
