Work is now underway on Sim Settlements Chapter 3! While the scope of voice talent will not be as large as Chapter 2, There will be some juicy roles to fill!
I will post VA roles below as they come in so sign up for notifications on this thread!
Our goal with all voice work in SS2 is to match the quality of the base-game, so to submit an audition for this process we require that VA’s have the following
Requirements:
An entry level professional setup including the following:
To Submit your Audition:
Send a forum message to me @Sirlach or email me sirlachinvar@gmail.com.
Use the subject line
SS2C3 Audition - {insert Character Name}
and follow the directions below for the audio recording.
Stats for Nerds:
For audition audio submissions please provide the raw audio files (no processing) in the following format
Record all audition lines included for the character, and only provide one take for each line. Please make sure to include your name and the character name in the name of the file.
E.g. SirLach_NPCName_01.wav
When recording, please follow the scene context and line instructions provided for the character.
Role Information:
Lead characters: Over 100 lines (If you are cast or auditioning for a major character, make sure you have enough time set aside for recording).
Supporting characters: Between 20 and 100 lines.
Minor characters: Between 10 and 20 lines.
Extra characters: Less than 10 lines.
For any characters that reference masks, helmets, etc. Do Not add any filters or editing to your file to mimic these. We mention them just as a reference for your own convenience.
Non-human characters that require significant audio effects or modulation will have a special tag in their name. Do not add any filters or editing to your auditions. For ghouls you must record with a ghoul rasp, that fits the rasp information provided in the casting call, to be considered. (If you need an example of a ghoul rasp please reference ghouls in Fallout 3, Fallout 4, or New Vegas).
Unless we specify a specific accent, characters of all species are expected to have a general North American accent. (Yes even the Aliens! )
If you are successful with your audition, you will receive an invitation to the VIP VA Discord server for Sim Settlement's Voice Actors and you will then receive your lines, recording instructions, deadlines, and important character information, within a week.
If at any point we lose contact with you for over a month without notice and with no ability to reach you, we reserve the right to recast the role.
Please find the roles below!
