Question Settlers of the commonwealth + conq = incompatable?

Just want to run this by others to see if they have noticed something similar.

Is conqueror and settlers of the commonwealth incompatible?

I've noticed on raids that the NPC's are immortal and disrupts the raids rendering them impossible to complete.

That is an issue that is present even with vanilla enemy NPCs , you have to get them out of the settlement you're trying to attack first, or kill them, before starting the attack

They work together... as long as you send these special settlers to a settlement not involved in raids... same as vanilla.
