This suggestion was inspired by the CC Settlement Ambush Kit. As much fun as SAK is, I'm experiencing considerable for dips after 5-10 waves due to all the dead bodies. While I can scrap them using Place Everywhere, this method can be rather time consuming. Ideally, if this idea is implemented, scrapping bodies would deposit their inventory to the settlement workshop.

If anybody knows of a mod that auto scraps dead bodies, could you please provide a link?

You could use Mr. Tidy. Only problem with it is that it is kind of slow, though this is somewhat offset by the fact that it works even when you're gone. IE You could activate it, then run off to another settlement and do some stuff, then come back to it and have all the bodies cleared.

Ambush related bodies disappear after fast traveling away and back. So if you limit yourself to 10 waves, then loot, then fast travel, your bodies are vanished.

How about a raider bonfire recreational plot which also removes corpses! By publicly burning them in a big pile! "Oh God! The Smell!". Maybe a raider plot 'Long Pig Meats'. Ewwwww.

For more civilized options, if such scripting is possible with plots, maybe a mortician recreational (?) or industrial (ick) plot which removes bodies and maybe even adds dynamic graves. Humorous options at level 3 if you have a whole bunch of corpses to process. :)

I use Grave Digger myself. It's DIY though and you have to use a special shovel. It's also a pain to move bodies to an actual graveyard with out using something like Running With Corpses. There was also a mod which let you put corpses in your inventory to move them more easily but I couldn't find it.

The only way to bury corpses is to first move them? Say, I'm not the most SANITARY of murderers, and as such, the very UNLIKELY instance:umnik2occurs where an enemy meets his demise somewhere OTHER than on dirt, Running with corpses becomes essential to ̶H̶I̶D̶E̶ ̶T̶H̶E̶ ̶B̶O̶D̶I̶E̶S̶ bury the corpses properly?

You don't have to move them if you don't mind burying them, like, wherever. There's an option to flatten the grave which basically removes the body completely so there's always that option. It's better than "disable;markfordelete".

That was exactly where my thought process was heading next. I'm wondering HOW gravedigger removes the buried corpses... I have an ongoing grudge against that damned dead raider (Who is now BUTT Nekkid by the way) and his flea-bag mutt, just outside of Sanctuary. In the end, I opted to leave them there because after doing some research and asking some questions here, I became educated on the zero-mark map space under the map and how the game engine deals with dead vs. deleted things. It was also around that same time that I learned how disable/markfordelete is very dangerous. Mods that do this using those commands and/or similarly messy ones are equally as bad.

Naturally, when I saw your post today my old rivalry against that DISRESPECTFULLY DEAD raider and Ol' Muttley was INSTANTLY revived as I saw a potentially effective way to finally ELIMINATE them and to also have a mod which would be fun to simply keep in the arsenal just for sh**s and giggles...

Maybe make a spooky graveyard with lots of Halloween decorations and keep the mounds visible. Muahahahahahaha!

If we are feeling particularly macabre a plot inspired by the auto butcher from manufacturing extended might work. Anyone else in the mood for soylent green?

I really would like a gavel option to clear corpses, especially if it also removed things like skeletons or that bloated brahmin corpse at Taffington boathouse. Especially the skeletons, if I miss one when clearing Starlight drive-in I hear them rattling around inside the foundations and it drives me up the wall whenever I visit that settlement

Little heads up, but Advanced Follower Tweaks now has a "remove body" feature to its looting feature.
This does require that you have a companion, though.
