Why when pointing the Vit-O-Matic device at the O-M-OR robot and Doc Shock , does not show them SPECIAL?

Fire it at them like a weapon. That will work as an alternative

I shot more than once, waiting in the hope that the script would work. Nothing happens, there is no information about the robot.

I've been getting this periodically as well. The SCAN dialogue option only seems to pop up at certain angles/distances for me, and if they are near a plot or other object it can interfere. There are many times when the gun flat out doesn't work on them. The same bots I was later able to scan later on during play. I wasn't very awake, so I'm not sure what fixed it. :/ Will continue to keep an eye out for things that might be involved in fixing the issue.

I have the Horizon mod installed and it is possible , but I am not sure that it is the Horizon mod that conflicts with the SimS 2. It is very difficult to understand what this or that mod conflicts from , if you do not understand the programming of games.
