Raider Gang killing settlers

After being out & about, questing, killing things, etc., I come back to My HQ, which is my main outpost. Mix of my raider gang, including a handful of non-raider settlers. I am back about a minute and my raiders including Maul, his dogs attack,and others start shooting all my settlers.. How do I stop this as they run my shops etc and don't want them dead. They have never done this before today.

You should never have been able to mix settlers in with raiders, it must have been a bug that allowed you to do so up until now which has been corrected.
You can convert them to captives by collaring them, but they will only be able to work recreational and industrial plots.

Shame I like having them wondering around, don't really want to collar them... I guess no option but to collar or shot lol them
