[Quest] Where There's Smoke - bugged

the cut scene from this quest will bug out and every just stops talking. I've searched this whole forum and every one else who had has this problem, their solutions do not work for me.
i can not proceed at all with this quest.

current version 1.0.1 and i am using full Dialogue Interface. i already tested to see if FDI was the issue. its the same result without it.

Do you have a save prior to the quest that you can revert to and see if it runs correctly a second time?

If you are running See Through Scopes that will affect dialogues.
If you are using an ENB that adds trees that can cause it to lockup because Aiden is unable to hit the Gunner he shoots.

do i have a save from before i did the radio thing with jake. i could try that.

i don't use see through scopes, but i do use Boston natural surroundings. could that be a conflict?

Pretty sure if it is causing the kill shot to miss.

Go ahead and try and revert to a previous save before doing the radio with Jake and have Boston Natural Surroundings uninstalled. See if that works better for ya

Go ahead and try and revert to a previous save before doing the radio with Jake and have Boston Natural Surroundings uninstalled. See if that works better for ya

nothing worked. I uninstalled BNS, scene bugged out.
I uninstalled High FPS Physics Fix, scene bugged out.
I uninstalled Fo4FI_FPS_fix, scene bugged out.
I uninstalled Sprint Stuttering Fix, scene bugged out.
I even changed what weapons to equip when Jake and Aiden had there Mexican stand off because i read that certain weapon's iron sight could cause the scene to bug out . it still bugged out .
The farthest I ever to into cutscene before it bugged out, was when Aiden accused Jake of being the reason why the gunners attacked the settlement. and that was when i had all those other mods installed.
I give up. I don't know what else to do.

Well in the wiki under troubleshooting there is cqf console commands to skip to the next quest.
I would rather we got you back on track and the matter resolved, but at this point there is no more advice to offer except to skip.

Hmm yeah I would run the command, it sounds like a mod may be altering how the dialogue or the dialogue camera plays out.

just chimed in but im stuck on this quest too. the 1st try was stuck where you meet up at the settlement player froze up and had to restart game over and over so i started new game deleted some mods and now im stuck at the console/radio i set in chair to tune radio and locks up i am able to continue game but that damn radio sound follows me WTH !!!!difinitely bugged

Someone else had that radio bug screwing with them with the sound afterwards.

I would definitely roll back prior to the quest because they never came back with a solution or cause.
