as for the unofficial patch I’d say yes use it it fixes a lot of bugs Bethesda has not fixed including the precombines and previs for a lot of stuff. But to install unofficial update you will need to start a new game as a lot of the stuff fixed needs to be in place from the start. Honestly restarting isn’t a big deal unless your one of those level 500 player people who refuse to loose their stuff. I mean it’s just a game and with the cheat holotape mod you can rebuild a player and their level in like 10 mins from start to out of vault so it’s not like there’s much to miss out on.
