I've opted not to push things up the changes as a hotfix as we've been merging a lot of fixes this week, and the scope has grown beyond what I'm comfortable rushing out. So I'm going to just continue working on additional fixes and posting betas.

Tonight's beta addresses the following:
  • Vast majority of grammar and spelling mistakes should now be fixed. (Thank you Lively!)
  • Tweaked one of our model files that may have been the source of the mystery collision many users were reporting.
  • Fixed the Commercial Requirement setting in MCM.
Download Public Beta 1.0.2c here.

Good lord that had been driving me nuts. Downloading now, will report back if it's still happening.

Oh, thank god. I was questioning my sanity and trying to reset and fix my controls. :help

Is this one in front of a multiRes plot? I had one with something invisible blocking the way so I put a burning barrel on top of it to remind me it was there.

I give thanks for not posting on Nexus betas, the translation community thanks you (some commit suicide)
I have a new respect for the immensity of SS work

I hope to look into assignment issues soon. That code is so immensely complicated that it can take hours just to get set up to test it (I have to put in dozens of debug outputs and trace through the logs looking for where things are going wrong).

No need to rush, just wanted to know if this is seen as a bug by the development team. I have narrowed down the problem on my installation to SS2 and its req., but there is always a chance of use error.

Thx for all the hard work.

Got a bug to report: I am doing the WHO CAN? ASAM! quest and whenever I enter cinematic mode for building the settlement (by talking to Stodge) after the music ends, the game crashes to desktop. So I'm downloading this hotfix now to see if I can get past that part. I am currently recording a series for YouTube and I don't want to linger of bugs or crashes. Hopefully this will get it fixed.

Quick Update: It still crashes the game. The only thing that I can think of instead of just grabbing a chair and waiting 6 hours for Stodge and company arrive, I will just wonder off and do something else.

I tried just building with the city plan before the NPCs arrived. It still crashes to desktop after the cinematic.

Please see my save file. It has a readme document with modlist and load order.

Thank you. Just having confirmation it's a known issue being looked at is good to hear. And between this and new settlers auto-assigning themselves and settlers assigning themselves to multiple plots... I can imagine this is one complex thing to test and debug. It has to do a lot and I'm guessing also fight the assignments from the base game. Just thinking about the complexity makes me lightheaded.

I have found them all over the place, but most reliably in a couple of specific spots in Sanctuary. They dont seem to be there any more though.

Try turning off Cinematic Mode and see if that prevents the issue for you. I have all City Plans built on my PC, we made a new save for this just before releasing the Addon Maker's Toolkit, so there are no issues with any of the City Plans on a minimal load order.

So glad to hear this fixed them. Had a random spot in sanctuary I couldn’t get past always had to move around it.

I will try that.

That little trick worked, thank you. Just to let you know that I am actually working on a series and plan to release the whole questline all at once in a playlist.

Personally, I think that the fault was on me because before I used the city plan, I moved all of my junk from Sanctuary to Red Rocket which turned out to be over 10k lbs worth of junk and materials. .... I've been hoarding stuff and maybe that was a little bit of an overkill.

I seem to have a consistent crash. I had a problem with sanctuary de-assigning my city plan desk (posted in questions). I updated to the hotfix 1.0.2.c, and everytime i try to fast travel to sanctuary, i crash. i use the vanilla city plan, with 4 extra plots up.

EDIT: I rolled back saves to before i insitalled it, becasue i was mid questing when i installed the beta. Now i am in sanctuary with the new '1.0.2c'. Before it was crashing on cell load and fast travel load. i'll see how this goes.

Break down that junk. I’m also a notorious collector of everything I come across in Fo4 and it all ends up in sanctuary as well. I downloaded whispers mod that breaks down junk to components by just walking up to a crafting desk of any kind and pressing a button. I’ve also been breaking weapons down into their basic junk components this play through i used to just dump it all in workshop and would have like 100 of each weapon 1000’s of grenades of all sorts and tons and tons of armor and then thousands of mods for it all on top of that.

I have issues but I’m working on them and scrapping more stuff is helping. Now if only I could take that mentality into Skyrim and sell off everything I have in breezhome.
