This is effectively 1.0.2, but the night before, and missing one texture file I'm waiting on from someone on the team who is likely sleeping off a turkey coma atm.

Just a few more things listed than 1.0.1c, but the first bullet point is actually a bunch of work by Cynical_Bounce, our wonderful Art Lead who's also starting to learn dialogue implementation to help us with quest content! I think you guys are going to enjoy the shopkeeper idle bark system. It's something I did for Franktown Vs Rontown that I really wanted to see in all characters going forward, so we had some of our bigger settlement characters you meet off the main quest set up with these!
  • Added custom barter dialogue and shopkeeper idle barks to the following characters:
    • Old Paul, Lily, Anton, Audra, Knox, Franklin, Katie Powell, Julia Powell, Alex Powell, Hubert, Stodge, and Theresa.
  • Removed several unused models from the archive files.
  • Unlocks will no longer trigger while using crafting workbenches. This was done to prevent a scenario where the game would not let you exit the Unlock screen or the workbench.
  • Fixed conditioning on several of Katlin’s lines that were meant to comment on things the player had done to help Vault 81.

Is it safe to use it with SS2 Extended 1.0.1?
I mean are there will be additional SS2 Extended 1.0.2 too?

Usually if other files are required for a patch, Kinggath will let us know. Think of of SS2 Extended more as an asset library than a mod.

Just typed in Vortex search sim settlements 2 patch and nothing comes up, where is it? I can't find it please let me know. Thanks

If you have SS2 installed through Vortex, it should show the update available icon by now.

The only one I found was the xdi compatibility patch which wont work as I have only installed ss 2 sim settlements & ss 2 add on pack wasteland ventures. I installed ss 2 super structures, and ss 2 ruined homes and gardens 2, but they stopped the quest line, so I have disabled them. I was looking for a patch just for ss 2 sim settlements, as Jake will not enter the vol-tex building he either stays out side or just disappears! I have tried waiting outside for him to enter first but nothing happens, I enter the building, and he does not follow I was told to use the console command, 'move to player' but I don't know how its written every time I try, I get script not found! Any help would be grateful. I am new to mods I only started a year ago with sim settlements, I am a 61yr old game player trying to learn new things.

I'd advise using Vortex to manage your mod installation and updating. If you do, it will show you when an update is ready on the mods screen with a little cloud icon next to the version number you currently have installed. The videos that the Vortex team put together to show how to use their application are actually pretty good for newbie and veteran alike. Vortex also has some built-in load order management but if you're feeling like you're comfortable with mod management you can also download LOOT to manage your load order.

I looked for loot in vortex all I could find were for looting nothing about load order.

How do I use it, I installed it and it could not detect any games.
If LOOT isn't automatically detecting your installation of Fallout 4, I can only assume it's because it's installed in a different path than the default. You could try opening LOOT, clicking on the three dots in the upper right to drop down the menu, pick "Settings", and that will bring up a list of all possible games for which LOOT can modify load order of mods. Find where you binary for fo4 lives, then take the full path of the directory where the binary lives in the "Install Path" section on the Fallout 4 line and click apply. That might do it.

I would be remiss if I didn't point out that playing around with the load order can render your game unplayable. I've never had it happen with LOOT but each installation is a separate beast entirely. If you're not experiencing problems with the order in which Vortex loads everything, you might consider not using LOOT unless you're ready to tackle manual load order changes to get everything working properly.

I installed loot and after watching the how to use video i got it up and running and it didnt make any changes to my load order thanks i will keep it and run it if and when i add more mods. Thanks

My next question is I keep getting a message box coming up saying I need to make repairs but I cannot find what needs repairing can anyone help me get this sorted, Thanks

Go to Workshop Framework options. Turn off tutorials.

You can get this message if a tato plant in Abernathy Farm is damaged (even without owning it.)
This will also get rid of that @#$%ing annoying "connect to something to power it up"

I cannot find workshop framework the only places I found it was in Nexus and Fallout 4 mods load order could you guide me to it Thanks

You have to have Workshop Framework, it is one of the required mods for SS2.

Go to a chemistry bench and craft the holotape if you do not have MCM installed.

I have just built a basic powerplant and I got a box open up saying I had to use a municipal power switch to get things working so looked in switches and its not there so I installed mod manager and its still not there I cannot get any power and it is producing 75power any suggestions to solve this problem. Thanks
