Amara is fixed in this build. I'm not aware of any Carl Meade issues, I just played through his quest last night!

Every time i try to do Carl Meade, I put down a clinic, I try to assign him to it, he wont go. Then i go dart a ghoul, go back to him, and he says "none were brought in" and when i ask for more darts, he gives me nothing.

Darting the ghoul does not work if step one of the quest (finishing the clinic) isn't finished. I had to send him to another settlement and construct the clinic there for it to finally work.

exactly as i did. sent him to outpost zimonja placed the commercial plot down» selected clinic » assigned him to it » and them I went and darted a ghoul at the cemetery
 
Very nice. Was able to complete chapter 1. Only meaningful bug was disappeared Jake (once - before getting the task where you are supposed to tune the radio), which straightened itself out with moveto player.

I also noticed that if you have a weapon with a scope the Aiden cinematic (Where There's Smoke) can start bugged. You'll see a zoomed in scope instead of the camera zooming to Aiden while he's talking and the dialogue can't be skipped with mouse1. It will fire instead. It doesn't matter whether it's a pistol or rifle with a scope. But it should return to normal once the first speech selection is picked.

I got this as well. I just assumed it was caused by See Through Scopes.

I haven't seen this in my many playthroughs. But now you have me trying to remember if I ever had a scoped weapon equipped...

The problem i think, is that i cant assign him to a clinic, every time i try to it does nothing and he does not build. While doing the Sim Settlements Quest i only have one settlement, and that is Sanctuary for ease of managment while doing the quest and to make sure everything is open before i start building up the commonwealth.
 
Have you tried using another settler to build the clinic and once built assign him?

I tried Assigning him to one that was already built yes, I think the issue is more that i cant directly assign any of the named NPCs directly, they do end up assigned automatically but i cant seem to pick where they go.
 
Sorry I can’t help much more. Personally (on Xbox) it’s the manual upgrades that absolutely refuse to work properly. I’m not privy to any insider info but it feels like this game was really designed for auto-everything in mind. Hopefully these issues will be worked out soon.
 
If I not said before: thanks a LOT! Not only a "building mod" but almost a alternative storyline. Voices, writings, all wonderfull. Jake is one of the more charismatic character -so live, human and lovely- you can find in the history of FO4's mods. Thanks.
 
I'm still new to mods and I've been using Vortex exclusively, so how do I install the public beta?
You know the drop box at the bottom of the Vortex Mods window (where it says "Drop File(s)")"? When you download the .7z file in Kinggath's link you can drag and drop the file directly onto that box and Vortex will install it for you. You can then enable it.
 
I lost the HUD again in this version. Only "outside workbench" mode in "resoursce panel" in the pipboy...is intended? Bye again HUD, I miss you!
 
About to download this version! I ran into an odd bug where during the mission 'Hub of the Problem', we were going to the Vault-Tec building, got into a fight with those nearby Supermutants, and somehow Jake got glitched back to the amphitheater and now just chills there and won't follow with me. Trying to interact with him does nothing.
 
been trying to play Hub of the Problem with the 1.0.1 patch and the 1.0.1b BETA but as soon as i get into the Vault tec HQ jack either isn't there or once the ghouls are cleared nothing happens he doesn't go to the terminal and i myself can't open it (character stops going to it one second after pressing activate)
any fix here yet?
 
I dont know if this has been mentioned or if it is suppose to happen but Old Paul keeps appearing where ever I am to get dog food no matter where I am on the map.
 
Excellent mod. And the only reason I still play fallout. Any idea when these patches go live to vortex. So they update through there? Only issue im having is crashing back to vortex when I try to change light poles. None of the poles are connected to wires. I’m use a controller on pc
