Proportion of plot types when planning?

So, how many plot types to you generally create when manually setting up a new settlement if you don't want to micromanage and build plots as settlers arrive?

Residences are obvious depending on your charisma but then you need to figure out the proportion of agricultural vs commercial vs industrial vs advanced industrial vs martial, right?

Do you set the initial plan manually or just let them be auto-assigned?

Thanks for any suggestions? I'll be curious to see what the new expansion pack selects.

Previously, it was build as needed and grow big... now it's basically just turning on the blueprint and letting it worry about the settlement.

If you want to go old school, there's a bunch of theorycrafting on the wiki but the exact ratios were meant to be secret so as to encourage experimentation.

You might find this thread interesting - it has Kinggath's initial thoughts on balancing (first page, a bit down).

Thanks for that. Lots of interesting things there like how you don't really need power initially for commercial, residential, and industrial plots.
