Problems with 2.13 and new game

Hi,
I am having several problems with 2.1.3 and starting a new game.
On the first attempt I got a message saying the SS2 startup scripts failed to run, or something like that.
So I deleted Fallout 4 and redownloaded a clean copy. And I got as far as Jakes first quest "laying foundations" I place the residential plot and Jake just walks away, I tried waiting 10 mins but he seemed to be heading to concord.

Try re-downloading SS2 and re-install it. Sometimes the file can be corrupted during download thought its fairly rare. With such a minimal load order it should "just work."
 
No luck.

I'll try previous version (2.1.2) which is known to me to work and see if the problem is still there.

I tried uninstalling ss2 and ss2 ch2 and reinstalling, same issue. Thought it might be because I was trying to start in starlight instead of sanctuary, so load game before setting up in starlight went to sanctuary but same thing happened after putting down the plot jake just wanders off. Also that it might be because I was running at 120 fps with fast fps fix, so I disabled those mods, used the nvidia console to set fps for fo4 to 60fps but that didn't fix it. Looks like I'll be dropping back to 2.1.2 as well.

No falling back to the previous version didn't fix the problem either. As soon as I finish talking to Jake, I get a pop up for mama murphy's shack and he starts wandering off, then a settler will show up and follow me around until I speak to them.
 
I am writing this using translation software.

I probably have the same problem.
I started with a new game after the update.
Jake appeared with no problem, but did not show any response when I placed the plot.
For some reason the plot did not show any sensors at this time.
Fortunately I was able to proceed with the quest using console commands.
However, Jake did not respond when I placed the agricultural and industrial plots in the next quest. The plots also did not show any sensors.
I proceeded with the quest using the console command again. After that, I believe it progressed normally.

I don't know if this is related, but the "out of time" quest also did not proceed correctly. I remember that the "out of time" quest also progressed normally when I had the data before this new game.

Did you rollback Workshop Framework?

I should have probably mentioned that I also rolled back WF to 2.2.0.

I’ve been using the high FPS physics fix to let FPS run up to 120 as well no issues with that just make sure the pipboy and lock picking speeds are both still capped at 60 it prevents issues with those objects. About the best I get is 80-90 FPS at 4K ultra though and like 65-70 in the downtown areas.

as for the quest start no help I’m at the part where your about to meet Hubert and it’s all working good so far.

Thanks, also rolling back workshop framework worked and SS2 starts just fine, maybe is just the framework that's bugged?
 
Man, I could have saved myself half a day of fiddling with my mod list to get my new save working if I had come here earlier - downgraded SS2 & SS2 Chapter 2 to to 2.12 and Workshop Framework to 2.2.0 and now things are working as intended. Thanks!
 
how can i get this fix for xbox im desperate
Apparently the fix failed to upload correctly on Xbox. I reuploaded today and a few others reported its working now - so please update Workshop Framework once again.
