I'm having a problem currently in my game where one structure is flickering transparent and there's a extremely long glitched line/object in a house in sanctuary.

Try a city refresh .last option on the blueprint on the desk

cell corruption maybe.
is the red beam comeing from a plot?

try rebuilding the city.

It isn't a red beam but more like a very large texture glitch. almost like when a dead npcs body glitches then streches really long it's a long thin brown line that stretches upwards. as for the structure it's a transparent wood frame that ghostly flickers.

mod conflict maybe :(

when did it 1st appear?

To be fair when I installed sim settlements  I've checked for conflicts and so far haven't found much. Could it possibly be something like vivid fallout texture pack?

I've tried manual download now and the refresh and sadly nothing worked

:( As for checking LOOT it doesn't detect anything wrong or overlapping.

try disable that texture mod and see what happens after a refresh

save and reload your game that should fix the rainbow colors

Ok so I disabled Vivid fallout - All in one and the problems happened again where that one structure is going from transparent to normal and that weird stretched object is still there. I've searched for other places about this problem and some say about AMD graphics cards (which I have) but I don't really know.

ok :( I will drop this thread in the support channel on discord .
does sound like a conflict though :(

Cheers thanks for the help. I've been searching madly for a bit and forgot I could type on the forum instead :agree: I just remembered but when building the settlement I'm not placing randomly but am using the prefab city in the blueprint. No idea if something is glitched with mine but it's weird.

It has happened before to another player and its possible its your game settings or a ENB.

to be honest no idea:(
you would have to play around with them until it fixes things:(
You can try disable half your mods and see what happens. And then half again and so on until you find the problem mod.
Or restart your game and hope it dosnt happen again.

As for now I'm going to take a rest with sim settlements because I've got no idea what to change to be honest. (A little scared because I don't want to screw anything up xD) I don't know why though but I keep thinking my graphics card could be the problem. It's a AMD R9 295x2 with that weird crossfire thing. Thanks for your time though :agree:

you can try validating your game files
on your game on steam right click on fallout 4 select properties, then local files .then Verify integrity of game files.

AMD may be a problem as well.

and you can also try a reinstall of fo 4

I understand I always get worried when I try a texture file :(
