One super-very-extremely-nice thing to have would be the ability to construct sort-of prefabs in game.
Like, maybe that turret tower you've built many many times at many many settlements. How cool would it be if you could build it once, create a prefab from it and, from then on, plonk it down anywhere you can build, possibly straight from the build menu.
Sort of like what the clipboard mod supposedly did (I could never get that one to work for me).
I also realize that using layers might come close to offering what I'm looking for. I have yet been too stupid to figure it out tho.
