Please disable disease as standard

Please make it something which needs to be switched on. In the latest update even if you switch it off,it does nothing - I have not even ended up at the stage where Jake has a name so can't build clinics.

I have asked on here if there is workaround and nobody has an idea so won't answer. I will try reverting to earlier versions of the relevant files and if that does not work I will have to scrap the playthrough which is already a few dozen hours in and uninstall the mod.

My saves have been destroyed by this latest version. Reverted to the previous versions of the main file,chapter 2 and workshop framework which were fine and had diseases switched off and now it is permanently on despite having switched it off.

Please disable diseases as standard because - why is it on before I can even build clinics,or finished the Sanctuary Hills tutorial??

You can frequently find disease cures in Nightingale caches, near churches and hospitals or occasionally even in Polaski Shelters. If you are having trouble, you can also find them in most Dr.'s inventories for sale. They usually don't cost much, low enough that even playing survival difficulty I was able to quickly collect about 50 when one of my settlements got sick, more than enough to fix folks up and keep a stockpile. And that was just with trading for assorted ammo types. Also, I think in Kinggath's playthrough he mentioned something about changing this, might be worth checking out.
