Religion is often under-represented in fallout, but I think it has a lot of potential for settlements.

There's a lot of religions listed there, even if mention of them was brief. From a Sim Settlements point of view, a temple to a religion could lead to other members of that church arriving as settlers too. I can imagine even a member or branch-office of the pillars of the community might show up. I can see some religions adding a lot of happiness (or even unhappiness if they're unpopular.) Can a plot have dynamic happiness ratings depending on the religion's membership (or rivals) in the settlement? A lone cultist would annoy people, perhaps, but a thriving church would be like a ... pillar of the community.
Maybe the sole survivor could even join one religion, like the Pillars, and actually make a difference to gameplay in the town and its happiness.
I don't know if any of this is feasible, but to me it sounds like an interesting "complication."
