Patch 2.2.1 - All Systems Go is now live!

Unfortunately, the long saves, which I never had a problem with before, hit me right after I installed the 8/12 files. I have since updated to the latest patch (the 9/3 patch) for SS2, Chapter 2, Workshop Framework, and Hud Framework. That did not solve the problem. I have changed nothing else.
Any ideas?

According to patch notes. 2.2.1 created a ton of script lag that 2.2.2 should've fixed. If that wasn't fixed, maybe try the old "wait and stare at the floor" thing?

Anyone playing Xbox Series 2 experiencing problems going to certain settlements? It started with Croup Manor where I sent those crow people at conclusion of that side quest. I land in the settlement, Piper or Cait (whichever I’m with) say something’s not right and a few seconds later the game crashes. Now the same thing is happening at Greentop. I have tried traveling by foot, not fast traveling, still crashes when I get close. Also wondering if anyone else is seeing bright pink (magenta) windows for the HQ medical lab? Does that indicate some missing element or problem? The more I play the more I’m amazed at the detail. It pays to slow down and appreciate how plots change. Easy to miss.

Thanks for the help guys. I should be able to get it sorted now.

PC players do you recommend Buffout 4? and do any of you use the High FPS Fix by Antonix35? Ive been using these and wonder if they are why I am having problems with script lag. Ive been running the game at 120fps but with the settlements bring the fps down as low as 50 sometimes. Ive been using the High FPS Fix for a long time now to fix the problems with jump height and lockpicking while the game is running at 120fps which is what the game will default to with no mods or ini changes just a fresh download.

buffout is pretty much a must have...
your high fps thingy... i am not so sure... from the infos i have garthered you don't even want the game to go faster then 60fps... but if its stable enough for you, sure, why not?

i personally can not sense the differences but i am maybe just too old to percieve it.

If you're crashing to desktop immediately, probably power corruption. I'd consider blowing the place up if that's the case. If not, I had a lot of freezes there due to overbuilding (this term used loosely since I'm on One S). Xbox doesn't take kindly to verticality and I'm not sure why. Multiple floors of plots always kill it.
The pink windows are one of those things that don't break anything and even look kinda cool. Almost a feature.

eMYNOCK Im pretty uncomfortable at 60fps in a combat scenario but walking around a settlement seeing the sights is fine. Its normally sweeping side to side that is when low fps is noticeable. The game defaults to my screen refresh settings (120 or 144hz) in Windows when running in fullscreen. Not sure when they made the change but I noticed it a while ago. I always do fresh installs in between playthroughs and then I go in game before I mod anything and delete the old saves from the cloud. I have a good machine so 120hz is actually no problem with some changes to shadow distance even in downtown. Only in settlements does it really drop probably because of the amount of objects being loaded in.
