Patch 2.1.6 - Death to the Dead Zone

Thank you for the update. Patch notes were quite clear.

Plots built in Dead Zones will correctly retrieve the settlement information which should eliminate the need to build some plots closer to your settlement center and move them into Dead Zones.

If this actually fixes Abernathy Farm, then I will be very grateful. Problem are is quite wide. Sometimes I have been able to build stores and services down hill, but settlers almost always loose their trading dialogue options and do not actually produce a thing.

I happen to have a save file, where Abernathy Farm is untouched. I will start building it to day with Sim Settlements, to see if patch managed to fix the whole issue. That would indeed be great, if it did.

Very helpful
I sometimes had dead zones even within the vanilla settlements but now with All Settlements Extended I suspect there will be a lot more places where this is helpful

And"Dead Zones" are areas where getWorkshopFromLocation doesn't work and the Simsett HUD disappears?

Yeah, I eliminated the use of that function where ever I could.

Thank you for the update and hard work.

I am having an issue with a few farm plots not showing upgraded. To explain further, the farm plots requests and upgrade. I go over to ASAM and click 'Upgrade Plot'. I leave the location and come back, plot upgrades but still shows it needs an upgrade (green dot). I have placed plot in auto-upgrade and it still shows needing an upgrade (both in settlement and on tracker on map). I have refreshed the plot several times.

The plot that is doing this is the Corn - mud farm by Kinggath.

Thank you. :aye:

Hm, I have a few factories in a mod-added settlement which might or might not be in a dead zone. In any way, their stockpiles do not fill, at all.
I just noticed this and whacked them all with the Immersion Breaker Breaker, but, is that enough? Or should I pick up and re-place the plot? Or re-build them completely anew?

Safest bet is to destroy and rebuild them, technically a refresh will work - but if you aren't seeing anything in the stockpile then recreation is probably necessary.
