Question Outpost to Settlements

hi everyone, i have a questions. How can I restore the command post status back to the settlement? To be honest, I thought it would be like a real checkpoint or something like a control point, so I set up a military table. Now I realize that the Red Rocket gas station near Sanctuary Hills acts as a base, and warriors come there, but they don’t automatically take on any tasks even after I set up a town planner’s table. Please tell me what to do.

Check at the War Planner's Desk, menu options to see if there is an option there to return to a Settlement.
The War Planner's Desk for Sim Settlements isn't documented on that wiki, and unfortunately, I don't remember the specific options available in the menu. Most of us have not played the original Sim Settlements for a few years now.

It doesn’t work; when you try to change the settlement type, the settlement doesn’t change. There’s also a “change command point” button, and it displays the gas station, and that’s it.
