Old Post Option to delay BEFORE save (Nevermind: Freeze Time issue)

I'm unable to use the save feature. It seems to try to activate save while still exiting from the workshop mode. Which always ends up causing control issues after the save. So have to kill FO4, delete the save, and load from a previous save. Adjusting the delay AFTER the save doesn't help any, and in fact it never re-enters workshop mode on it's own (it does if I manually enter it, but still doesn't fix the control issues on manually leaving it).

My guess is because my RAID SSDs are so frickin' fast, but that's just a guess. So an option to set a delay BEFORE it attempts a save would be greatly appreciated. Until then, I'll just disable the auto-save feature.

Thanks!

Something else going on here because there's no such thing as too fast.
On a couple of my profiles if it wasn't for the sound you'd miss the save it happens so fast.

WS+ changes the character race to a bird and you are getting stuck there, which is why you are having control issues. player.setrace Human will fix this for you so you don't have to delete the save.

Well, there is such a thing as too fast, if it's trying to save before it's completely exited the workshop mode. Or more likely, it HAS exited workshop mode, but not allowed enough time for the race to be changed back. Regardless, a feature doesn't work for me. If it's just me, then fine. I just won't use that feature. But I do thank you for the "fix", even though I probably won't need it, 'cause I won't be using the save feature. But it's still good to know, so thanks.

Something else going on here …

Quite right! I just had a thought. I only tested saving while I was using freeze time. I recently stopped using that option, as it causes it's own problems. So I just now tested using save while NOT using freeze time, and it works PERFECTLY. Even with the default 1 second pause after saving. It saves, re-enters workshop mode, and when I cancel out of workshop mode, it lets me gracefully fall to the ground. As intended.

Therefore, the actual problem is with freeze time. Which doesn't work correctly for many other things, anyways. So instead of having TWO features I can't use, it's just ONE feature.

So thanks for getting me to thinking of other things it could be!

With the latest update to WS+; auto clear weather, and character body no longer disappearing (meaning pip-boy torch mods can now be used) freeze time is not something I have a use for any more.

I also use an SSD (non raid, mind) and also use a Faster Workshop mod, so it was highly unlikely that save speed was the issue.
