Not delivered to workshop

Hi, my problem is that I place all the items in a container, add the beacon, select the settlement and get the notification that a team has been dispatched... but I have never seen a team and my items never arrive at my settlement's workshop (I have waited more than 72 hrs and still nothing). I can see them marked on the map though.
What can I do?

It could be that the particular beacon you used is "stuck", which usually only happens if you move it back and forth between containers several times without selecting an item - but perhaps there's another sequence of events I haven't thought of that can cause it. For that particular one, you can still follow the map marker to find and rescue your stuff.

As a test, could you build a container inside your settlement with the Communications Station, place a beacon in that container and send the stuff to that same settlement and make sure everything is delivered, it should only take a couple minutes for the team to walk over and walk back.
 
Thanks for the response :) I will test it as soon as I can. Now I have come back to some of the locations and in 2 of them I have seen a pickup team, but they were just standing in the entrance without moving (also, I kind of killed a brahman, I hope that doesn't cause any more problems xD). I have removed my stuff from the containers, but when it comes to the beacon a message saying that it will be placed in my workshop with the rest of the items appears (nope). I really would like to be able to remove the quest mark from the containers so if I'm not able to fix what is wrong with my beacons I can still use them for marking my stuff for pickup later.

I also have been unable to open one of the containers (that I suspect is the first one I attached a beacon to) with the pickup team near it, and I really don't how to remove my stuff now :(
 
It appears that we are both having the same issues. Let me know if you have a resolution to this. I was thinking it might have been a mod conflict, but now I have no idea.
 
I'm having this issue too. Salvage team stands around near the beacon, stuff never gets delivered. Other beacons still work though.
 
I also have this issue. Started a new character (the last character worked fine). The first 2 beacons were returned to the workshop then I noticed no beacons were returning. I have 8 beacons not returned. Salvage teams are just standing there doing nothing.
 
I'm unable to replicate this issue or find any cause for it. If someone finds a set of steps I can do to ensure it happens reliably, I can look into it again - but at the moment I have to assume it's a mod conflict.

@kinggath would you happen to know if this mod might have issue with areas NOT being cleared or resetting container before the salvage team has opportunity to retrieve.
 
It shouldn't. One of the big updates I did, when I was actively developing Salvage Beacons, was set up the Cache system, so that the containers your stuff is stored in are actually isolated from cell resets.

@kinggath what about mods that alter those containers as well. Can those have an impact?
 
@kinggath hate to be a nudge, but it I have since update my load order and started a new game and I got the problem on the first salvage beacon. I hate the fact that this does not work, it one of my favorite mods, but as of now, I can no longer run it and may he forced to delete. It also appears that I'm not alone with these issues, can we get a legacy version uploaded to see if that addresses the issue.
 
I haven't seen this explicitly mentioned but it's worth noting that as near as I can tell, the Salvage team itself is an immersion feature. The Beacon container doesn't dump the content into the workshop until a timer based on 'Time from origin to location+Time from beacon to receiving settlement' counts down to zero'.

I'm currently in Nuka world and watched a team despawn right in front of me when they decided to camp out on the Grille patio instead of actually walking all the way back to Sanctuary. Up until that second the beacon cache is still accessible from the container.

Hotdogs and S'mores may help pass the time? Play Euchre?

Its not a timing thing.... i slept literally for over 2 weeks and nothing was ever returned to me. I even tested this with red rocket and the USAF Satellite Station Olivia, and it is right around the corner. There is either a problem with the mod after the last up (because that is when it started to not work properly) or there is a serious conflict with another mod. Im wondering if you need to have simsettlement installed now?

I suppose the donation option could have unintentionally created a dependency? @kinggath ?
 
I've had the beta testers playing with this for a few days and none of them can replicate this issue. Sim Settlements isn't a dependency, but I will double-check that turning it off doesn't cause issues.
