Solved No HUD widget visible

Hi All. I've spent a while trying to troubleshoot this myself and scanned the forum here for answers but have had no luck. As far as I can tell, with default options the Layer Widget should always be present... yes?
I installed WSFW, WS+ HUD-FW and MCM in my game (with Unofficial Patch, Workshop rearranged, OCD) and played with the MCM settings for a while to try to figure out why I could never see the Widget. I added keys to move it around thinking that it may be off screen, but no joy. If I create a layer I get the notification that it is created, and if I change layers I get that notification as well. I've changed layer and built on that layer to see if that triggered the Widget, but no. I installed HoloTime to ensure that the HUD-FW was loaded and it works fine.
Right now I'm testing with a very early vanilla save (before I added a single mod) with the following;
  • F4SE
  • MCM
  • HUD Framework
  • WSFW
  • WSPlus
  • HoloTime
Loaded in the listed order. Still no Widget. Am I missing anything? Any Suggestions would be appreciated! TIA
Aaron.

With the lack of replies here I feel this is probably not a common problem. I've continued to work on it from my end though as I REALLY want to take advantage of WS+ and the layers system. I may play with it for a while without the widget but I don't want to get too far ahead of myself.
Perhaps someone can answer this question. With default settings and HUDfw installed, Should the Layer Widget be visible? (I think the answer to that is yes, I don't see any Key-toggle or anything.)

This Image shows that WS+ is certainly installed and working but lacks widget. HUDfw is installed and working as seen in the next image with HoloTime installed.

I have an early save with no mods loaded and not much built from the wb. I installed F4SE, MCM, HUDfw, WSFW and WS+

I've started FO4 at various resolutions and even windowed. I can not think of anything else to try short of a complete reinstall. ANY Suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advance!
Aaron.

Okay. First, I have the widget working now... mostly.
This message will not be terribly helpful, but it's the best I can do.
I had all but given up on the Widget (and maybe even WS+) but decided to do some more testing with WSFW. I was no longer paying much attention to WS+ but played a lot with the WSFW settings to get a handle on how some of the features work. Before I knew it... the Layer Widget was there! I had turned a lot of the features of WSFW on and off with MCM and I'm not sure what, if anything, there helped. I can say though that I was suddenly overly annoyed by the Hold [V] to... tutorial message and was surprised that the Tutorial Toggle with WSFW did not hide it. I ended up adding bShowTutorials=0 to my ini. I can not say if that helped me with the Widget or not... I probably will not take the time to A/B that. At some point after that change the Layer Widget appeared.

Okay, so it is working for the most part but I noticed that at some point when I was not paying attention to disappeared again... Ack! I exited the WS mode and re-entered and it was back... Cool. This happened again and on the third time I realized it was disappearing after an AutoSave. Easy enough to bring it back but a slight annoyance. Today I'll add a bit of autosave delay and see if that helps.
So the widget is still a bit buggy for me but I'll keep at it and see what happens.

You might want to try turning off the WS+ autosave feature.

Personal theory: your game has a bit of script-lag going on and when the save is complete and you go back into workshop mode - the “turn off layer” functions are triggering after entering WS mode and turning it off.

You might want to try turning off the WS+ autosave feature.
@Whisper,
Thanks for the reply....
So, just to put this thing to rest, everything seems to be working as expected now. I removed bShowTutorials=0 from my ini to ensure that wasn't having any effect and just moved my autosave delay from 1 to 2 seconds. So far things are fine even while using the autosave feature. I'm very happy that I did not give up on this as I just spent some time with the Layer System and it is going to be a great tool for me going forward.
