Multi-type plots

Something to look at for future expansions.

I know I could probably annoy RobotSmells until he creates combinations of plots for SS2 but I feel like this could be something to look at from the main mod point of view.

A hotel/motel/apartment building would be a commercial building with multiple residentials. An owner/janitor/desk employee and the rest of the place for homes. Would create extra income.

Homes and shops in the same buildings. Because that’s a thing and it makes sense.

A lot of recreational. Take Wasteland Venturers’s pizzeria. How is it my settlers recreation? I feel like as a job for one settler and recreation for up to 3 people it would work perfectly. And quite a lot of recreational feel this way to me.

That’s pretty much it. Just look into the idea of working a way for plots to have an employee yet be something else.

And I know I’ve ranted a lot about issues I’m seeing with the mod but those all come from a place of love. I love the mod, I love what it’s trying to do and I love the community I’ve met. I’m critical and analytical of all that SS2 does because I would like for it to be as inclusive to every play styles just as much as SS1. Because I want this to be a hit and bring even more people in the community.

Again thanks to all the team for their work and all the readers going through my rants.

I was actually thinking about a "hunter's lodge" type plot that provides both Food (animal meat) and Bone+Leather for Scrap, myself. Wonder if Plots can check two stats for output...

Pretty sure what you’re talking about is easy to do. It’s technically an “agricultural” plot (food production) with extras stuff put in the workshop. I know in SS1 that was a pretty common thing.
