This is a Primary Bug Report. It is meant to help the Sim Settlements team with issues reported multiple times. Only staff should use Primary Bug Report tag. Anyone can post their similar issue here.
Thank you
After upgrading city plan decorative beds, blue men and some plot pieces disappear.

After refreshing Sanctuary and Abernathy Farm, the blue marker for the Bar and Trader disappeared. Same happend to the Beds (No Plot Beds, but the Beds created from the Mod). Even after refreshing several times, they won´t come back. Settlers assigned there are now unemployed

Did this happen after a city upgrade?
Thank you

I am also experiencing this, in every settlement that I have tried refreshing - Sanctuary, Red Rocket, Abernathy, Tenpines Bluff, Croup Manor and Zimonja Outpost. I can add the beds to replace them myself, but the stores have become useless. Hope it will get fixed soon.

When the settlement gets upgraded, I found some objects like doors are duplicated and some missing or invisible counter (Abernathy Farm). Refreshing the settlement can simply fix this but then I found the bed count dropped and beds which were there before refresh are gone. Example: Abernathy Farm had one bed in the repair shack (next to the armor and weapon workshop shack), and one bed inside Abernathy's house, but after refresh both are gone. Same thing happened to Red Rocket Station. The army style mattresses/beds on the second floor of the station disappeared after I refresh the settlement. If this problem happens in plots I can simply refresh the plot itself but those beds are not in plots. I noticed this in these two settlements so far, not sure about the others.

Those beds are just decorations and are not counted in the bed total. During an upgrade many city plans remove 'low tech' and simple decorations to show the growing influence and wealth of your settlement. There are also beds labeled 'Your Bed' that do not appear in the bed count. These beds are just so you have a bed you know will not have an errant settler in when you want to sleep. These may move or be removed as city upgrades. Your bed count will not drop unless some residential plots or placed beds were removed. As to the duplicated, missing or invisable items, could you take a screen shot and upload to drobox.com and send me a link owenho@att.net

I have sent some pics through dropbox with desc for each. While I do understand some items are just decorations and are intended to be replaced or removed after the upgrade, I think the removal of beds that causes bed count to drop below the designated number of settlers for the city plan is not part of the design...right? The removal of city markers (blue men) from bars and stores shouldn't be intended as well I think. Anyway, I hope you'll look through it and thanks for the effort. I have had a very good time with this mod, I can't imagine playing without it.
Btw, the issues started to happen only after I updated the version to 3.1.3 from 3.1.0. Before that, there wasnt any problem of disappearing beds whenever I refreshed Red Rocket.

It seems that the disappearing beds on non-plots location happens not just in Red Rocket and Abernathy, but other settlements as well every time I refreshed. I also have a problem in The Castle, if the number of settlers exceed the city design limit, some settlers will always become guards and go on patrol despite being assigned to other type of plots.
