missing base game structures

Anyone else experiencing an issue with the overpass at Finch Farm disappearing when using the City Plan contest winning settlement plan? I also had the small cabin and ruined house at County Crossing disappear with all the city plan contest entries and even the ROTC city plan. I haven't noticed any other settlement having missing base game items. If anyone else has experienced this issue, please respond.

Are you using scrap mods?
that is the most likely reason that is happans

I use Scrap Everything. I haven't changed load order, and I've had Scrap Everything installed before Sim Settlements. I may start a new game with reduced mods, I'll let you know if I find a mod that may be the cause.

Did you tick the scrap more option in SE (bUseCombinedObjects=0) ?
If so reinstall SE and do not enable that option and move SE to the very bottom of your load order.

@Sinned42, @uituit and @Phil_T_Casual pointed out very important things.

SE, has got to be very near or at the very bottom of your loadorder. SimSet is up with the masters.

If you start a new game it would not hurt to post your loadorder. There are folks here that like looking at things like that.

I also want to say that I am not a fan of scrapping mods, they complicate things. maybe since you are using city plans and they scrap the surrounding area you'll take a spin without them? SE is a mod you could add later but not something you can remove.

Instead of SE, maybe check out something lite like:

Just make sure to never use in a settlement where you are or will use a city plan.
IDK but that might turn out poorly.

I just found out that a bunch of the scrap baselines on our server were incorrect, so it would make some City Plans incompatible with scrap mods. I've fixed the Jamaica Plain and Hangman's Alley plans.

I've added to my todo list to fix the County Crossing and Finch Farm plans as well.

I can confirm replication of the above issues with Scrap everything installed even while placed below Sim settlements in load order. At Finch farm the overpass middle section is missing and County Crossing is missing some structures.

While selecting a new city plan at Finch farm the overpass sometimes re-appears during the panoramic building phase but always disappears again once the build is complete.

To be fair this isn't a problem with your excellent mod. It's only something those of us that hate those random mountains of garbage next to the new homes our settlers are building around the commonwealth struggle with.

Thank you for your hard work on Sim Settlements it has added some nice depth and greatly increased the entertainment value and variation of this game.

Experiencing the same issue here as well. Effectively identical to FallenFaith's description above. Other older forum posts seemed to have mixed success with disabling some combination of Scrap Everything and All Settlements Extended. Tried uninstalling both of those and messing with the City and none of those were able to restore anything that was missing.

Out of all the city plans that were available for Finch (I believe it was: Myr's Junk one, Wind Farm, don't remember the third and the default for fourth) only Myr's one was showing the missing structures in Finch returning during the cinematic and it was doing that with or without the other mods installed. None of the plans I have return the missing parts unfortunately but it was probably too much to hope for.

But, yeah, I suppose this is finally the sign to give up on Scrap Everything. So many loathesome trash piles though. haha

Thanks all for your hard work.

scrap mods cause so many issues - my advice is simple - don't use them. period. i removed them from my game a good while back - game is a lot more stable for their absence.
