Metal* and Vault Foundation type for buildings

So far we can only choose between wood and pure concrete foundations for our buildings.

I suggest adding the following for some variety:

1) "Structure" - "Concrete" - "Floors" - "Concrete Foundation"

That one has a rusty metal top layer.

2) "Structure" - "Vault" - "Atrium" - "Floor"
or alternatively
"Structure" - "Vault" - "Supports" - "Supports (1st one)"
if we need something that has an actual foundation below it.

These would fit in nicely with vault-themed settlements.

SS2 in itself will never offer you much variety. They added a storyline but at it's core, SS2 is a framework and tools for others to create variety through addons.

I'm on Xbox so my access to mods is limited compared to PC but I know of at least one addon to look at if you're looking for variety in foundations.

I expect you'll find a few options to your liking somewhere in the 270 total new foundations.

Thank you Irealys! I did not add any SS2 addon packs yet because my game is already a bit unstable, but I will give it a try.
