The blood, sweat and tears of the builders is evident, and all three builds truly represent masterful levels of workmanship and use of the builder's kit. The writing of all three narratives is superb and each reflects a specific pov. Masters indeed. I thought I'd go with which I'd actually use in-game, but these are all monster plans. In the end, I voted for the one I want to go spend time in as a player character - in a world I can't possibly create but want to go to. Well done, all! My hat off to each of you!

I don't want to take away from the amazing accomplishment of these designs, but so that none of you City Builder's fear it for next season - you don't have to be a great writer to get to the finals in the competition, we actually have someone on the dev team write the voice over script and get it approved by the builder.

Not that the finalists didn't have a narrative in mind when they designed, but when competing in Masters you don't have to worry about coming up with the perfect words - just design an amazing build and we'll handle the prose!

I knew karvoc did the raider themed one just watching it seemed his style. Man I miss jammer and the rest of the conquers gang I really hope some of them make a comeback in chapter 3.

also all 3 of these are great love the baseball one and the manufacturing one is cool to, but my raider roots always shine through.

All 3 are fantastic. We really need some fancy music to go with baseball, colosseum or the garden of tranquillity. And 3 copies of Starlight.
Although I'm still wondering why there hasn't been a design that fully makes use of the projector screen and turns the entire settlement into a post-apocalyptic drive-in theatre.
If you have WRK, the projector is there under lights. Light bulb projects up, you can rotate it. It's also in the final level of the RotC plan, I think. I'm kinda making my own version of Starlight featuring that, the theatre, the cars and a lot of blinding lights, maybe some day it will become a city plan but... not yet.

what i want to know is will the stadium have 1 cap = 10 beer night? if you don't know what I'm referencing go look up a YouTube video called "Ten Cent Beer Night Was A Total Disaster"

More fantasy than anything else.

Not a suggestion.
Still, given all the effort put into weapon animation and switching magazines as if each was a fine wine.

If, let’s say, someone like Neeher, and his fixing of the ladders did a hitting a “ball with a bat” animation / marker.

Not a pitch just, hit a ball with a bat kind of marker. Hahahaha, that would have clinched it for me.
:yess

Now, I am just struggling to choose here. I do like the Arena themes.
Still, "Baseball" in Fo4 what a thought. IT SCREEMS Sim Settlements :blush:acute :buba

don’t take it as anything bad I just couldn’t see anybody else doing that build. I really miss conquers to so I’m all for chapter 3 bringing back the mechanics at least.

I don't need to see the video, my dad recorded the incident on VHS using his VCR back when in happened in '74. I don't know where that tape is nowadays, but goddamn, THE RIVER WAS ON LITERAL FIRE! it was unbelievable!. The Second inning Flash, the 4th inning Streaker. they were lining up people at beer truck THEY CALLED IN! AND IT WAS BEING SERVED BY TWO SKIMPILY DRESSED GIRLS, WHO THEN DIPPED OUT AND IT BECAME FREE-BEER NIGHT FROM THERE. it was such a Clustercuss.

I feel like it's going to be a hassle to repair whenever a rocket launcher missile or a fat man nuke impacts the Dome. Also feels like many a settler could fall to their deaths by either stupidity, bad luck, betrayal or death by Raider/Gunner snipers while in the process of building. I do like the idea of a mine, although finding an actual vein doesn't feel plausible to me for some reason I can't remember. Pass.

The Colosseum... considering that its raider themed, it only makes me want to raze it to the ground and build anew from the ashes. Pass.

The Stadium...I honestly don't get real life Baseball, but I've seen plenty of Baseball Movies and read too many Japanese Manga about it and love those. The Video felt like one of those old movie ads so it gets my attention at least. Takes my vote.

you're forgetting the best part all the while the stadium organist was playing "Take me out to the Ballgame" for all innings
