I spoke with Lupe then with Jake in the church. Jake asked me to follow him. He walked to his shop paused then headed upstairs to the crafting benches. He wont respond to me - I cant even say hi. Lupe is in the same state.

Such a bummer the quests had been preforming beautifully till then.

I forced the quest chain to skip ahead, got the quest to talk to the town and then went to defend Tenpines Bluff - and my game crashed. I went back to Jake's shop to advance it again and Jake appeared out of thin air and started talking to Lupe giving me the Vault quest.

When I got to the vault the Gunners werent hostle so I gunned them down easily but when we got to the office all the leader would say is "Im Leaving!" Messing around trying to get Mansfield closer I accidently shot the leader and interestingly he seems to be immune to resurrect. He also has the quest icon on his corpse. So back to forcing the next quest to start :P
