Is there a SS friendly mod to have a bridge between longfellows cabin and far harbor (the village)? I know i can get an expanded settlement mod and do it myself, but wanted to know if anyone is actually using a mod WITH SS that already has this working (navmeshed for npcs)...

I don’t know of a mod, but the below video by @Whisper could give you some ideas how to do it in game yourself, ha! Or “a creative variation” that might work.

Compliments of @Whisper,

Actually, a really cool method I like that isn’t all that different is building in the sky while inside your border, make it the way you want it then moving it outside the border and placing it from one end or the other. You might have to try a few times.

Hahaha, I did what @Whisper did at the Taffington to West Everett Estates oh-God the navmesh was a little to good with the g2m workshop pieces. The NPCs would immediately go over it from the boathouse. Then west Everett cell would reset, before I realized what was happening with all the boobytraps and super mutants I had lost a half dozen good settlers. :skull I had to remove the WEst Everett side of my “bridge of death” just to keep the death toll down.

Oops. :crazy

Point of the story, I think the in-game workshop pcs have sufficient navmesh to do what you might be wanting to do? With no compatibility issues that you may encounter with a mod? If you are saying no boarder expansion to keep options open for a city plan and you do find a mod then I recommend you only enable the bridge mod after the city plan is completed.
