So with the new Sim Settlements spawning rad chickens in farm plots for flavor, I've noticed something odd about the wood-bordered tato farm, the one with the well and the giant tree in the middle. Every time I come back to a settlement, the associated chicken is dead and floating in the well.

I can only imagine that somehow it's being spawned at the bottom of the well and can't get out so it drowns? I don't know if this is even something you want to look at.

Does the water source cause radiation damage? If so, the chicken is probably dying from rad buildup

Whoops! Just went back and checked and I realized it's actually the concrete-bordered tato farm, the one with the well more centrally located.

For what it's worth I do take rads from drinking the world's coldest chicken soup. I can't actually jump in the well, it's too small to fit me.

Self cooking fried chickens? Sign me up!

Unfortunately rad chickens are a Far Harbor beastie and need flora from there to be cookable. ...oh wait, Tinuvia added a danger fog farm to the Always Free collection. Hmm.

Get the owner of the tato farm addon to occasionally throw a fried chicken in the workbench at level 3 and call it good :)

This also happens with the Fountain plots for tarberries, etc. The water is radiated, but you can't stand in it enough to hurt you, but the chicken is short enough to take a bath and, well, microwaved chicken soup.

Thing is, this is immersive as hell anyway. Chickens are dumb and will drown in water easily, so... yeah, all's right with the world.

If a global update was made that made all plots produce chickens there isnt anything that I am going to do about that. If i wanted chickens on my plots I would have added them ;).
