Old Post Let us know when a pre-built settlement finishes building

I found out that settlements are built in the background, so the game encourages you to do other stuff while it builds, but what I hope to see is notifications that they're finished so I know I can go to them.

I'm on a low end, and I was so confused going to the settlement I selected to be pre-built and seeing it completely un-built even after going though the tutorial and everything to get to it. I didn't even know it was going to be built, I just assumed it didn't work. So I hope there are notifications that it's being built, and one for when it finishes in the future. I feel so left in the dark with the scripts. Like, I legit have no idea if they're even going or working or anything. So I think notifications telling us it's being built, and it's finished being built would help out a lot.

I'm going to add a full progress bar for HUDFramework users, and percentage notices for everyone else as an option.

The entire process can actually take hours if you put all of the settlements up really high, and I believe a lot of the reported bugs are all stemming from the fact that the scripts haven't finished yet.

Generally, the thought is you'll be occupied with early game activities while it builds everything in the background, though for some people, it will be worth just going AFK in the prewar scenario or the Vault while it finishes up.

This is so perfect! I was hoping this would be the case! It'll resolve a lot of confusion hopefully
