We have been receiving reports that this mod may cause issues with SS2. We are asking for your help testing SS2 with this mod, by trying to replicate this/these issues so that we can identify the cause and fix it or ask the other mod author to make some tweaks.

Hello,
I'm not having any problems recruiting Unique Settlers, at least not the ones that have appeared so far (maybe 10 or a few more).
Is it certain settlers that are causing problems?
However, I have a slightly different mod order (heavy modded Game):

Fallout4.esm
Fallout4 DLC.esm
Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch
Hud Framework
Workshop Framework
KNOCKOUT FRAMEWORK
SS2

In between I also have other mods.
The only problem I have is with Ron, he doesn't give me any quests. I was told that there can be problems with all mods from the Thuggysmurf universe. I have installed all of them.

Hi Eagle Four,

In this thread, we are actually looking for help "testing" - specifically for Sneake's side quest, You're So Good...." and Knockout Framework, not other issues.

I believe that for your issue with The Ron, they have tracked down the problem to something in "Depravity" and are working to fix it. :)

We'll also be posting several of Thuggysmurf's mods like we posted this one so we can get more sets of eyes on possible conflicts on his mods, as well. Thuggysmurf wants to work with us to resolve any issues with his mods. :)

Ok,I just wanted to mention the Ron thing in passing. In the main, I just wanted to give feedback that I haven't had any problems with Knockout Framework so far. However, I have not yet encountered sneak. That's why I asked if there are problems with certain settlers.

I'd love to know once you encounter Sneake (information on how he triggers is on this page under the "Recruitment & Quests" tab), how it goes for you. Given that your load order is different, I'd love to also have someone else with it the other way around (Knockout Framework at the end like we recommend with other mods).

I went to Smuggysmurf with a a problem and he told me it wasn't any of his mods and the conflict was somewhere else. He also said that no one has ever found a problem with his mods. So, good luck resolving issues with him.

Sorry, I was on vacation last week. He's actually working with us to make sure the mods are compatible.

Hello,
I have now met Sneak. I had no problems with the quest. He did his macho spells at the beginning, then I fought him and finally defeated him. Then he wondered that he was defeated and then I was able to assign him to a settlement. The only thing buggy was: he didn't fight back during the battle. I didn't have to take a counter-attack from him. He just stood there and let himself be knocked down without fighting back.

Well, that's interesting. I hadn't heard that issue before. Thanks for letting us know!

Thank you for pointing that one out for me. I didn't get a notification for that post, so I need to figure out why.

I've had the same 'problem' on several playthroughs,it just makes the fight easier!

fyi - SS2 appears to prevent gunners from being killed in 3DNPC aka Tales from the Commonwealth in quest Human Nature and maybe others. The gunners get knocked down but can't be killed and so keep getting up. This prevents key documents from being looted. I'd be happy if the functionality could be disabled in a holotape as I don't find it to be realistic anyway.

my only real problem with Sim Settlements is the fact that when i finally get a thriving big city up and running, the game lags out and CTD, it has never failed to due this no matter how many times i've tried playing with the mod, SS1 and SS2, so i generally just quit playing with it,

Am i missing something that would cause this? The only mods i have other than SS1 or SS2 is Clothing mods and appearance mods such as Looks menu and it's plug ins such as tattoos, and CBBE, and the NCR Ranger armors, and NCR Minutemen overhaul

Hello,

had the problem, when I came into a developed SS2 settlement (over 30 settlers),
there were already at the beginning CTDs. The culprit was quickly identified. For me it was due to too high script latency. I noticed that when the script latency rises above 15%, there are more CTDs. In my case the mod that caused this was 'Nuclear Winter'. It made sure that hundreds of shader scripts were active.

By a change in the custom.ini I could lower the script latency to values of 1-7%. As a result, it was very rare CTDs in the settlements. disadvantage, the FPS drop slightly. But for stability I gladly accept that.

I have a very heavily modded game (over 500 active ESMs/ESPs), so my settings are extreme. Kinggath recommends others here. What works for me doesn't have to work for you, though. Everybody has a different system.

Therefore, these settings should be seen only as experimentall for now.

But a try can't hurt. Use testsaves.

Custom.ini:
[Papyrus]
fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=4.8
fUpdateBudgetMS=4.8

iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=614200
iMaxMemoryPageSize=2048
iMinMemoryPageSize=512

The values are doubles of the recommended ones. The underlined ones gave me the above mentioned result. The italic ones are in the test phase, I could not find any disadvantages with them. But I still observe.

The Script Latency I have measured with this: SKK Script Latency Detector
