Jake doesn't get in touch anymore.

So I have the following problem:
I have finished the quest "new plots on the block". Since then Jake doesn't get in touch anymore. He is also not in the hardware store. Do I need a certain level to be able to do the next quest? I did "new plots on the block" without explanaition, could this be the reason?

What's the last actual thing you did as part of the questline?

Options,
1 save
2 check the actual guest. You may have simply missed the update.
3 wait in game about 1 min. Occasionaly you get script lag. It’s annoying. But it happens
4 sit or sleep and wait 24 hours. There’s actualy hard coded pauses in and in between .
5 if that does not work reload the save. Oddly that will sometimes help as reloading basicaly resets some scripts.
