Information on the base plots/leaders

I am flat out changing the purpose of this thread. I might try to have the name change to be more representative but even if I don’t, it still fits. Kind of...

I’m in the process of making myself an excel document to include... a lot. Link at the bottom if interested. It includes add-ons, plots, leaders etc. But also things like settlements, flags, armor, clothing... yeah, in the words of Micheal Keaton’s Bruce Wayne: You wanna go nuts? Let’s get nuts.

It’s a work in progress and I need help. So I will update this top portion when I need some info that some of you could help. Keep in mind I am only working with content for Xbox but all of these were also released on PC so here is a small 600+ plots to get that full PC list started if you feel like it. The armor and other sections will also only include things from the main game or the very limited mods I might use.

Questions and help:
1- Is There any Xbox SS plot Add-on I didn’t include?

2- Still work in progress but some of these add-ons don’t have a description of their plots that include names or plot types. If that’s the case and you have it, it would be appreciated. I’d need at least the plot names and types but I’d fill any info. If the names don’t appear or it’s incomplete but it’s either on the wiki or the nexus description, I just didn’t get to it. I do tend to jump around a lot early in the process

3- I don’t use conqueror so if there are any plots that are included I’d need someone to tell me and give me the info they can.

4- The mega packs would be a pain in the arse to do on Xbox with an iPhone... if anyone wants to do them I would gladly add them to the list but I don’t want to remove basically every other add-on to go through the list. Maybe one day, probably not.

And here is a link to my spreadsheet in case someone finds it useful. Fair warning, it’s a work in progress. I will probably end up going very crazy with it

Hi there everyone. I’ll keep this brief for once. I’m in the process of making myself an excel document to include what I have in terms of add-ons, plots, leaders etc. This is a habit I’ve taken decades ago that often helps me contextualize information (easy example, did I just delete all the add-ons that gave me power plots?)

While it’s more often than not a simple copy paste situation, I realized that I can’t find a list for the basic Sim Settlements and expansions. Is there a list somewhere that I just couldn’t find with a list of plots and one of leaders? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't know about leaders but here is the other half of your question. :bye
Compliments of @WetRats. He worked his ass off on this. I use it all the time.

some of the most recent may not be there but it is an all-volunteer force doing the updates. :friends

There is a metric ton of great stuff hidden away in the wiki. :clap

Ok, first off, thank you for this! I looked at it for only a few seconds, but even that was enough to realize that I have access to at least one more add-on pack than I realized (Legalize the commonwealth is a SS plot add-on? Would never have guessed). I’ll make sure to look at the whole list and see if I’ve also passed up on others based on the name.

But getting the name of the plots from add-ons was relatively easy. I could look from the Bethesda page and looking everything in my list or even favourites. And outside of one exception (damn you Institute, even your add-on page is evil) every nexus page included the plots.

It’s the base one, the one coming straight from sim Settlement itself that I can’t find (ex: the various agricultural mudfarm plots). And I tried searching the wiki, google a bunch of different way to say “list of basic sim Settlement plots” but I never got anything from it.

And since Kinggath looks like he prefers the wiki to not contain too specific info (which I both understand and am baffled with but that’s still his preference and I respect it) it makes sense that this is simply info that no one ever bothered to compile. But hey, I guess I can be the first one to have that fun.

ha! Legalize the commonwealth is a SS plot add-on? Yes it is. :bye

I would let the thread go and see what others may know as far as a comprehensive list.

Many of us compile info as we get the itch / when we find a gap and figure others may find value in the information. KG :king can't to everything. :declare

Sometimes I forget not everyone will find me weird when I say I made an excel sheet “just because”.

I will give it a day or three and see if anyone else has anything. I’ll share what I have once I’m happy with a working system.

Thanks for your time

Ok, I am going to do my best Sam Kinison!

No not everyone! :umnik2
:rollseye You're not weird.

Making your own spreadsheets is more like status-quo.

Hummm, if making spreadsheets is weird then I am pure-psycho :crazy

:umnik2 Tons of users do it, several pop into my mind right off the bat: @bullyrook , @Sirlach @snarkywriter and I am sure too many others to mention.

I'd take a look at the full numbers breakdown: https://simsettlements.com/web/wiki/index.php?title=Breakdown

Basically, everything listed here is the base mod plots. Or maybe I should say the base plots all follow exactly what's listed there.

The only thing better than a bloody knife in Fallout is a bloody spreadsheet! Both cut thru the shnizz.

@Irealys - As a fully fledged card carrying member of the FO4 Spresheets club, I haven't made a plot spreadsheet yet but now you mentioned it.........

If your familiar with xedit/fo4edit you can have a peek at the sim settlements .esm and look for all the misc building plan records.

Or you can send me a PM and I will send you a .csv file.

Yeah, this is the kind of space I should have expected to find people who are similarly inclined.

Also if anyone didn’t see the edit, I’m fine for plots. I ended up doing it myself.

SirLach’s, sorry, I’m on Xbox. I don’t have access to what you mention.

Now I’d like to ask for some help from you guys. I’m not well versed in google sheets link/share system. I realize that my work might be helpful to others so I don’t mind giving people the opportunity to access it, make a copy of it for themselves and use what they want from it. But I don’t want to give access for people to change my weird way to work. Also, it’s very incomplete, as for now I’m barely using an iPhone to do this. I’ll wait to get my computer fixed (or if I just break and buy a new one) before I start doing math and start going nuts with formulas. And I’m not halfway done going nuts with it.

So my questions are: how can I safely allow people to access and use my sheet in a way I still control my own version? And will I need to do something to make that sheet people have access to updated to my version as I’m adding to it?

P.S. If anyone is curious, I have over 600 plots listed from Xbox add-ons.

The default permissions when you share in Google Drive is "read only". Which means people can view it and copy it but not edit or change it. You have to specify if you want people to change it.

Ok, I’m gonna put the link in the original post. Let me know if it works

@Irealys - Yes it works. Comes up as Read only. :)
