How do I track settlement needs?

For example, one of my settlements has 18 settlers and produces 55 food (according to the workshop HUD). However, the food bar in the UI is not full and some of my plots have the "insufficient food" warning floating above them. I assume that this is because of the dynamic needs system which gives plots negative production values of food, water, defense, etc. However these negatives don't seem to be reflected in the workshop HUD, so is there a way I can see how much food I actually need to satisfy the needs of the settlement?

There's no single-button way to check that (yet - "feedback reports" is the most upvoted Suggestion over in that subsection), you'd probably have to go around manually adding up all the values displayed on the ASAMs if you wanted precise numbers.

Ah ok. I'll keep an eye out for that feature then. Thanks!
