Good evening everyone!!!

What are the HOLO Icons for? They are the icons that are above your buildings when in the workshop menu. I don't know why they are there, and what their purpose is. Can someone please explain them to me?

Thanks in advance.

Question: i have a shop with a red house icon in third row; what is the meaning? that i used an indoor plot and i need to build some roof over the shop?

Commercial type Plots have an additional requirement of needing a certain number of people living in Residential Plots in that settlement before they can upgrade. That house icon means there are not enough.

And 16 settlers, all living in a house, arent enough to have a gun shop go to level 2?
My poor old box will never be able to allow me play with a much higher population, even now it takes some 5 mins to have the needs table appear.

I actually don't know what the required number is without looking it up, I always turn that off in the settings holotape.
It turns out the numbers are:
  • To upgrade a plot to level 2 you will need 8 or more level 2 residential plots in the settlement.
  • To upgrade a plot to level 3 you will need 11 or more level 3 residential plots in the settlement

I have 16 residents and almost all in houses level 3 but I use multi person houses; the 8 and 11 refer to houses or inhabitants? If it's the number of houses i have to destroy and rebuild everything, not a thing i will be very happy to do
The setting you are speaking of is the 'Commercial requirement' houses or population? i just switched to population

I think it only counts the number of Plots, not the number of people living in them. I seem to remember kinggath saying that was 'deliberate' so you still have a reason to use single person homes.

Yes, that setting. I just turn it off altogether myself.

I turned off it and shops started updating immediatly; a thing to remember in my next, more hardcore, run; this one is for testing
