I looked at the videos but while my written english is fairly good, i can read without problems english newspapers and almost everything not very technical not in my field of knowledge on vikipedia, my spoken one is not and subtitles didnt help.

I want to creaate a blueprint.
I go in workshop mode, i create a new layer and i build something. If i lay down a layer handle picking it up i can move just what i created and i want to add to the blueprint.
When i build the blue blueprint controller a menu pops up and i choose 'Create Blueprint'

Now in all videos i have seen at the 'pick a layer' question i see Cancel, default layer and 0 (zero) but in my try i just see cancel and default even if i see the two boxes D and 0 with the 0 one highlighted

Using change layer i can go to D and back to 0 but in both cases the blueprint controller isnt moved by the handle together with the stuff i want to blueprint; i can add more stuff to the layer, but not the blueprint controller that remains in the default layer

What am i missing? Think it something so obvious that video authors didnt care to explain but i cannot find it.

If you are running WS+ version 1.0.4, try reverting to 1.0.3. It should work properly for you in that version.

Thanks, with v 1.03 it works, just cannot rename the blueprint immediatly but probably it's because where i built it there is no weapon workbench; havent tried yet to try rename it in sanctuary, think i'll find it together with the other weapons i can work on.

The old golden rule: 'Never ever upgrade anything that works until you really need what the upgrade adds' proves again true

Need to try renaming but think it's solved

Tried renaming at a workbench and it works, cannot change thread title to solved but it's all ok, just need to figure out how storage works and other details but i'm confident i can manage it.
