Gun For Hire Conflict

Recently when I went to the GFH headquarters there was random settlement objects at the door blocking me from moving. I went to the GFH page to see what was going on and the creator said that Sim Settlements conflicts with the mod by placing things in there for whatever reason and that it was a Sim Settlements issue and their was nothing he could do. I used the search on the forums to see if their was a similar post but didn't see one and just wanted to report the bug and to see if their are any plans on fixing this issue. I can provide more information on the issue if needed.
 
I mean it isnt a HUGE space so you wont be making Diamond City 2.0 in there or anything, but from my memory of the room sizes it would work nicely as a resupply/drop off point connected to your trade network - caravan, doctor, ammo vendor, maybe bar... nice little "depot" type deal, I can see it being nice for Survival players. And iirc it is more "floor space" than Hangmans Alley...

get this i had the same issue only i wasn't aware that GFH was conflicting with SS2 i thought it was just another mod but had a feeling it was SS2 but i didnt want to think that..whats funny is i googled "fallout 4 mods gun for incompatible" and my eyes brought me to the link here right in front of me i feel like that was fast or w.e

but now that we know about the bug...what happens next there a fix to this where both mods can work well a patch maybe?
i am on Xbox one and i wish there was more space for mods in my load order
ofc there's SS2C2 (chapter 2) which i hope there's something that lets you take bounties

anyways great post and hope we get a fix for those 2
 
There is a patch for gun for hire on nexus that moves the ss2 door to the left, also if your getting things being built inside you need to basically turn off auto updates and not fast travel to the cell while ss2 stuff is upgrading as the base game can’t Handel that stuff well so it will spawn in the cell your in. Waiting for a short period before entering the interior cell will solve the issue but turning off auto upgrades for city plans and turning plots to only upgrade upon seeing will help to.

this isn’t new info either all this has been covered before a basic search will help with finding better info on it.

also who made the patch for SS2 and GFH? think they could do the same for Xbox one version?
it's impossible if you have SS2C2 as that takes all your space on Xbox one version

You don’t need a patch for ss2 and gun for hire it’s only for chapter 2 that it’s needed.

ok..well i never got both on Xbox since theyre big cant have SS2C2 and GFH at the same time and i did have a problem with them
im redownloading SS2 but had problems it wouldn't download the operation cannot be completed
guess i was alot of people trying to download it at same time so slowed down the connection or w.e

It could just be the bathesda servers they always seem slow to me when ever I try using them.

yeah but not with skyrim..you every get the feeling that FO4s mod intergration was a test to see how skyrim would handle it on console? hmph i mean really bathesda now that you see that work on putting those fixes in FO4 less lag and stuff

back..ok so if anyone here is Xbox one type person you can't have SS2C2 and GFH at the same time (due to the limited space made by bathesda but we all know that) but there is kinda an alternative a mod called the big hunt it's kinda like a notice board mod if you know about it then you might be surprised it's on Xbox one..you'll need the quest message board and from what i seen on the mods menu on FO4 on my Xbox one they dont take up alot of space which is good so hope Xbox people are happy with this info ik i am lol

ik GFH let's you take bounties in dead or alive and really that's all i wanted in a bounty hunting mod
GFH has more then that but im just interested in the condition of bounties like most are worth more alive or dont matter but alive worth more caps..

Cpd is not like gun for hire it lets you take a few quests to hunt down targets and a few to take areas over and hq stuff for them.
GFH on the other hand has quick kill bounties that are for like a gunner captain or a death claw then it has quest type of this person needs you to do X or take them to X as well as a few other things but GFH has a lot more radiant style quests that can be taken as well.

what I’d really like to see somebody do is something like the mod for Skyrim that changes a lot of the radiant go kill bandits type stuff to allow for also taking them in alive as well as other stuff.

As much as I use the Skyrim mod I can get a few to be turned in but most turn into a death fight so it’s basically realistic in my view because not everybody will be taken alive.

but the cpd is a good setup honestly it’s not a bad little quest line / radiant setup that the base game was lacking.
