Fort Zimonja

Transposed from the Nexus page:

Before the war, the US military decided that the remote radio relay at Zimonja would be a good place for a small residential base to house additional troops near Boston. After the war, the sturdy parking garage and still-functioning fusion generator make it a very desirable place to call home.

Featuring extensive terraforming and the use of several atypical vanilla assets, this city plan transforms Outpost Zimonja into a small residential hub. The Designer's Choice plan uses plots from Sim Settlements 2, as well as the addons Bare Essentials, Apocalyptic Additions, Wasteland Ventures, Favelabulous, Jampads, and Scrappers. It uses no 3x3 plots, five 2x2 plots (2 agricultural, 1 commercial, 1 municipal, 1 recreational), six 1x1 plots (4 residential, 2 martial), and 13 interior plots (1 municipal, 1 commercial, 1 recreational, 2 industrial, 2 martial, and 6 residential). Caravan services appear at level 1; Communications at level 3. Player housing appears at level 1 and becomes slightly more sophisticated at level 2.

As presented here, the city plan a couple known issues:
  • A mattress that the city plan can't scrap, located outside the accessible area of the city plan
  • Two walls that the city plan can't scrap, clipping through a floor and into a central building
  • A shack support that the city plan can't scrap, which appears close to but not blocking the door to the parking garage stairwell

If you're on PC, these can be rectified fairly easily:
  • The mattress is located just beyond the parking garage walls to the left of the workshop, and the walls themselves should be easy to snap back in place once you've removed it.
  • The walls clipping through the floor and the shack support can be scrapped using Place Everywhere's extended scrapping function (Ins key).

Due to time limitations, a version of the plan that addresses some of these issues is underway but likely won't become available until after the end of the July City Plan contest. This version involves rebuilding a significant portion of the settlement, which means it might not play nice if swapped in mid-playthrough.

The city plan can be found here.
