Is this something to worry about?
 
No you don’t need to worry about those errors. :) Those are kind of placeholders, not currently used. ;)
 
Does that apply to all current errors xEdit finds? There are a lot of NULL references and unresolveable FORMIDs, etc. I certainly get 'placeholders' if that's the case on all 142 of them.

I'm pretty sure 'bumping' isn't kindly looked upon here any more than anywhere else, but I'm fighting with a mess of a load order that's causing hangs, and would like to know if I ought to pursue trying to correct any of these errors with 'best guess' overwrites or leave them be. Any thoughts?

No. They won't interfere in any way with your gameplay. Run Check Errors against the Fallout 4 base DLC and you would will find worse.
 
Apologies, been very busy this Christmas/New Year. As Binary Misfit says - there’s lots of errors in the base game stuff and it keeps on chugging along.
