I've started building up Outpost Zimonja

It might look so but the container is not placed on the roof of the water shed.

.........which you can see here. Place anywhere was used to tilt/tip the container a bit to make it look more authentic and also to make it like there's a couple of wooden support beams that are preventing the container from sliding down.

I added some wooden walls below the terraforming foundation so that the hollow foundation so that it looks like the dirt is filled against the wooden walls.

4xInternal plots and one single story one person home has been built where the farms used to be.

Only 6 settlers yet though and still allot of work to do with the junk fence walls and other stuff.

If you haven't played the Bleachers (A diamond city story) yet then 1. Don't look at these sceenshots 2. Download the mod and play it.
This isn't a huge spoilers but you will obviously enjoy it better when you encounter it in-game if you haven't seen it before.

Things have happened at Zimonja. It's really crowded now, most plots are level 2 and 3. I have had to reset the building limit multiple times.
Not much additional mods used (basically only DDP AIO Standalone and ASE player choice) outside of SS2 + WRK.
Other then that it should be vanilla stuff only so might make an attempt to make a city plan out of it when it's finished and once I have time.

And as you can see, still no success removing the non removable stairs in the middle of the "main road".

Zimonja is a difficult settlement to deal with, looks like you're making great use of the space!

@ThunderboltDragon what is the DDP AIO Standalone?

Settlement crafting items like support columns, floor supports wood ramps (1x1 size) with/without rails, bridges that can be raised/lowered,
elevators and some other stuff I never use. It is an older mod which I think is some sort of compilation mod.
I mainly use the floor supports (because I haven't seen any other) and while there are other (like in WRK) Billybro's beefy columns
looks nice and are also both stackable and snappable to roof/floor tiles. You can see what they look like in this post, third pic from the end.

Some very initial scenery on the north end of the island.smENH20210227143822_1.jpg
More groundcover will be added as time permits. smENH20210227143930_1.jpgThe walkway platform comes from the island's hotel deck. The idea is that it's exclusive seaside access to the hotel's patrons.

This is before the walkway went in. The stairs and all the rest went in after I ironed out a lot of foundation mismatching. I used 1x1 foundation pieces that go around the structure. I also had to clone some of the cliff sections so the foundations wouldn't be floating with nothing ubderneath.

I expected them to be pretty stupid, tbh. lol They're always boasting about how superior they are.

Been working on the paths on Spectacle Island. I discovered that there is virtually little level ground. So rather than messing around with paths that follow the ground, I elected to build most of the elevated paths with the G2M mod.
ENH20210313145213_1.jpg This is pretty much where I left off.

This is roughly due east. Those containers are on a crashed barge. In the last shot, you can see how vertical and curvy things got

Continued..
The bulk of the pathways so far are on the east side of the island. This shot is from near the middle of the island. You can see the barge. I found it easier to use stairs to go up and down. There are places where I used ramp parts, and those have the white railings.
smENH20210314164933_1.jpg

This shot shows the base area of the stairs seen in the previous one. It also shows the top of the hill. The metal shack has the main workbench in it. On the left side of the walkway is a 'rain shelter'. I mad it out of greenhouse parts.

Watching the sunrise

smENH20210314121535_1.jpg

This view is looking roughly from south to north. The pathways are mostly level at the lower level that follows the beach.
smENH20210314163704_1.jpg
The pathway that heads up to the top is all made from G2M stair parts. All the rockwork was added because there was already some rock in the ground..just not enough of it. Much of this will be hidden by trees and other vegetation
